An Argument For The Mid Tarsal Break

These obscure photos are part of one of the most profound events in my life as a Sasquatch researcher.

On August 19 of 2010, myself and Scott W were in our Northwest Colorado location. It was around midnight and was pitch black out and dead quiet out. Scott W was standing behind his red pick up.

He shined a flash light into a low beam under the canopy. You could see the beam in the darkness as it darted back and forth as Scott searched for the sound he had just heard approaching between us.

He exclaimed, “there’s something right here“. I turned and looked and saw nothing and heard nothing and bent over back to gather up wood for the fire.

Just then, I felt a huge figure brush up against my backside as something huge went by quickly.

I heard a metal clank as it went behind me.
.We always start out with fruit.
It’s foot must have hit the shovel used in the fire leaning up against the Aspen tree behind my back as in went by me at record speed.
.
I turned and looked up and all I saw was a huge figure heading up the road in the darkness.
.
The whole scene was over in a few seconds, but it was clear what had happened.
.
Finally, our forest friend had decided to come into camp, but ran in fear at the sight of the flashlight beam searching for it.
.
It was if our friend had anticipated the point. Scott missed the figure completely with the flashlight.
.
Scott and I know not to shine a flash light, but in the heat of the moment, it is easier said than done. The culprit was lightning quick and nimble.
.
In the heat of the moment, it had panicked and dug hard into the soil and pivoted all in one motion. This ejectile field is proof of that.

These photos under the canopy are all we have to show that this event occurred.
.
This print was so deep in the soil, there is still a hole there to this day.
.
The dynamics of the hole from the foot explained allot to me and provided to me the relevance of the mid tarsal break.
.
The foot print was pushed heavy forward in the soil.
.
The toes dug into the ground three inches deep.
.
It had ejected debris out the side in one move as it pivoted to leave the scene at light speed.
.
The print was 19″ x 9″ in dimensions.
.
The heel was at ground level and the toes dug deep in the soil.
.
These are the photos of that one print.

No others were found, even though we new its path.
.
Ironically, it must have hurt its toes when it hit the shovel.
.
We had sat the shovel back up against the tree after the event and in the morning, we found it kicked over with toes prints showing it again had been kicked over in what appeared frustration at the pain it had caused earlier.

Wonder why they are so hard to see? God gave them really good defenses in that way. They are so amazing.
