Bigfoot hair sample 2 04-28-19

This large hair sample was obtained from our Central Colorado location in 2018 by Sir Co Founder Scott Barta.
.
They were found on the edge of our camp where the large male Sasquatch has been seen before standing by Mike and Trenton Johnson on more than one instance.
.
This hair is an unusual reddish brown almost Orangutan in color.
.
We have seen the hair color on the big male and it is similar.
.
Under a microscope, the hair has a fragmented Medula.
.
This is 1/2 of the total hair sample collected.
.
The other 1/2 of this sample was given to a scientist for review.

This is a hair sample found by Jeff & Theresa Yelek at their Northern Colorado location.
.
We found this hair on July 21, 2013 about 5 1/2 to 6 feet up in the tree.
.
It was located next to a fresh tree break which we found, that had a possible hand grab mark on it with the nails dug into the branch.
.
The close up shows it may have white skin cells that were caught by the branch.
.
We also have a grunt and branches breaking on a recording that we obtained at the same time.
.
This recording is found on our Bigfoot Sounds Audio page.

The Inadvertent Hair Snare
.
.
Recently on a three day outing at one of our three locations in NW Colorado we had a most fortunate find.
.
.
Our camp is small and cramped in the dense forest.
.
.
This creates natural corridors for travel for all who enter.
.
.
The Sasquatches, who are always cautious, like to keep a truck, a tree or a tent between you and them at all times.
.
.
This being the case, my truck created a natural corridor between it and a group of very sappy pines.
.
.
Much to our surprise, this arrangement created a natural hair snare.
.
.
As the Sasquatches passed behind my truck they rub up against a tree covered in sap depositing many hairs, which we collected with a needle nose.
.
.
They are mainly red and gray, but some are darker.
.
.
Some are very fine and some less so.
.
.
All are tapered and uncut.
.
.
They were all deposited between 5-7 feet off the ground.
.
.
None of them matched my hair or Dave Ottke’s hair, who were the only two investigators present.
.
.
All of us avoid this messy tree as well at all cost because of the sap.
.
.
This culprit paid no mind to it.
.
.
This being the case, we are extremely confident these are Sasquatch hairs.
.
.
We have over 50 in our possession.
.
.
Here are a few for your review.

Here’s some hair samples that I’ve found at two nests that are located in Northwest Colorado

Nest 1 is the original used three years in a row.
.
It has been used again this year.
.
Here is photos of it and hairs that were obtained from it on an outing on 08/25/2012 and 08/26/2012.

Nest two was found by accident under four huge pines out in the open of the valley on a ridge hidden from sight.
.
It overlooks the valley completely and allows for a great escape route to the south.
.
This pad has been used many times as well and is worn all the way to the dirt.
.
The same type of hairs were found it as well.
.
It is about 100 yards up hill and to the East of nest 1.
.
I saw big momma between these two nests late last year.

This impressive reddish/gray hair sample comes from Rampart Range Colorado
Bigfoot Hairs On A Bush
They were found when a track line of 20″ prints were found next to a beaver pond in one of our oldest research areas.
.
We took the whole small bush as evidence for future DNA testing.
.
The footprints went through the bush and the hairs caught on it as a result of this.
.
These are very similar to the Utah sample as well.

Sasquatch Hair Sample 1

Sasquatch Hair Sample 5

The first three photos in this section conveys fresh tree breaks at our Central Colorado location.
.
This was a cluster of 5 new ones.
.
Each between 4-6 feet tall.
.
Each break was on a small Aspen.
.
This is common in this area inhabited by them.
.
Every time, we find a tree break, we look at it for hairs from past experience.
.
On the tree break cluster with two breaks in the photo side by side, we found this beauty draped between the two small trees.
.
It is gray, 8-10 inches long and has split ends.
.
It belongs to one of our friends is our thought.
.
I am not aware of anything else that could have left it, except for another human being.
.
The split ends and length we find quite compelling and intriguing.

Here’s some hair samples that were found at Central Colorado location

On June 3, 2013 while camping at the Central Colorado location, strands of hair was found while going down from the lair through a narrow pathway ringed by giant boulders.

The hair was found by Kala Morris.  2 strands were found on the left of the pathway about 5 feet high clinging to the boulders.  About 10 feet down from where the 2 strands were found, a strand of black hair was clinging to a branch on a bush about 4 feet high.

Here’s some hair samples that were found at a Northern Colorado location

On 6/29/13 while at the NW Colorado location, Mike and Tony showed Jon and Robin the spot where some of our forest friends use as a resting spot. This is the location where samples were collected and sent to Oxford University for analysis.

Big foot hair sample 062813 1

While looking around this spot Robin found several including a 4.5 inch long black hair.

Big foot hair sample 062813 2

This sample found resembles the black hair found at the Central Colorado location several weeks before.

Big foot hair sample 062813 3

The chances are slim for SIR to find 2 hair samples that are similar in color and appearance since they are hundreds of miles apart unless there are Sasquatch at both locations.

I am studying for my degree in Criminal Justice, and I wanted to share what I know of evidence collection. It’s best to preserve hair samples in a paper bag. Plastic can corrupt the hair samples.
Here is a great website on forensics and crime scene procedures.
http://www.forensicmag.com/article/crime-scene-basics
Obviously, the evidence is not from a crime scene, but protecting the integrity of the samples is vital in order to obtain viable results.

Hi, I am a Colorado native with an Anthropology degree fron The University of Colorado and am very interested in taking part in some Bigfoot field research. Woul your organization be willing to allow me to take part in one of your investigations? Also, have any of the hair samples listed above been tested for DNA or examined under a microscope?

I would really appreciate the opportunity to help in any way I can.

Thank you,

Ari

Thank you for the Hair Evidence pictures. I have been looking for something like these pictures to compare with the samples I have. They look similar. I think I can see the fine wave in the hair that matches my samples. I suspect these hairs I have of being from maybe under the arm of the creature as they were found on a large tree I suspected of being moved to it’s present location. I looked for the area on the log that it would be needed to be lifted from and it was covered with the ubiquitous moss that covers every thing here in the Pacific Northwest and sticking out of the moss was about a 1/8 inch of what looked like hair. That little strand was actually the end of an 8″ light brown hair. I have been emailing people to find out if they could describe a hair they may have seen. I received several replies, including from one of the Finding Bigfoot cast, but they have only sent me links to books and case studies. Your pictures have moved me a little closer to thinking these maybe Sasquatch hairs.
