Another Person’s Perspective

The following Colorado Bigfoot research report gives another person’s perspective.

Upon arriving to Mike’s Central Colorado location him and I set up camp and then hiked towards the feeding station. A paper
plate was found on the ground from the previous visit by Mike and Dave Ottke. There were no scraps left and a small hole
was punched through the center of this plate, which is not easy to do. It looked like a finger nail.

We continued to the watering container feed by a spring and then past up the ridge line. We found a cluster of black hair
snagged into a small conifer tree at about three and a half feet.

Further up the hill there were several tree breaks. They seemed to be patterned in a circumference on the top of the hill.
.
We circled the top of the hill and return to the watering container.
.
Just before we reached the water container and again a few hundred yards past it, two different squirrels began vocalize as to warn us we were being followed.
.
.
That evening we began to cook dinner on the fire between 7:30 and 8:00pm.
.
We ate dinner (Sirloin, Baked Potatoes and Carrots) in the tent and when we were finished, Mike began to collect the leftover food and put it on three paper plates.
.
The plates were left on the tailgate of the truck temporarily, while Mike went back to the tent for something.
.
When he returned he immediately noticed that something was at the back of the truck and then the culprit scurried away quickly as he approached.
.
It seemed to startle them both equally. We then both heard a tree branch break on the ground as the culprit left the scene.
.
.
At approximately 10:00pm we made our way towards the feeding station with the three plates of food.
.
Two Oatmeal Raisin cookies were added to the plate with the leftover carrots.
.
The feeding station is in a closed area about a quarter mile from camp.
.
Two plates were left on one inverted log along with a cross, a tumbled rock and a necklace.
.
The other log just had one plate of food. Mike yelled out the Pavlov Ian queue he uses and we turned and began to make our way back to camp.
.
We were almost to the fence (50 yards away) when Mike turned around and said “Here he comes.” We both turned and witnessed what appeared to be a small LED light moving from left to right towards the plates.
.
For a short moment the light got brighter and then came down as the individual appeared to be inspecting the offering we had left them.
.
.
This is the first time I have witnessed eye shine and it was not what I expected.
.
When a person thinks of animal eye shine from any other mammal of the forest, you think of the reflection of on the retina which makes the pupils glow.
.
This is very different. This eye shine is light emitting and instead of two distinct lights/pupils, there is only one- at least on this occasion.
.
In addition, I did not observe any bounce from the gate as they moved.  The light remained level through the course of travel.
.
I have been to this location once before and there are no ambient light sources in the direction where we observed this eye shine.
.
We were looking directly into a tree line with 5-6 ridge lines behind us to private land in the distance with no houses.
.
.
We left and went back to camp to allow them to feed. We returned an hour later and the light was still close by the plates in the tree line.
.
We decided to walk towards it and as we did this, the eye shine retreated into the tree line. The food on the plates was still untouched.
.
We walked back to the fence and when we did there appeared multiple sets of eye shine.
.
Mike began to do a ritual greeting that he does each time and as he did the light that was on the right flashed bright.
.
We observed them for another half hour. I counted four different individuals. Only two were shining at the same time.
.
Frequently, the eye shine would turn red and sometimes green, but only for a brief second before returning to white.
.
.

The next day we packed up camp and returned to the feeding station and all three plates were completely cleaned.
Not a single scrap was left.

The trinkets appeared to be untouched, but the necklace from Utah was on the ground. There were no visible predator prints anywhere of any kind.

We left four livers on the plates and walked back to the fence. Mike found a fourteen inch print with four distinctive toe impressions. It was close to the fence where Mike calls to them every time.

It appeared to be pointed straight in the direction of our camp as it followed us back to camp as we went back to sleep that
night
