Colorado Bigfoot Research Field Report 08-14-13

by Michael on October 5, 2013

This Colorado Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies Field Report comes from Robin Roberts.

In July, SIR and 4 friends went to South Park area to investigate a spot where they had received two reports.  That trip revealed the presence of Sasquatch and warrants further SIR investigations.

With this in mind, Jon and Robin went back on August 14 for 4 days.  They camped in the same location hoping to trigger further interactions with them.  The days and nights spent there will be unforgettable.

Early Thursday morning around 5:00am bipedal footsteps could be heard.  A few seconds after hearing the footsteps, the left side of the tent was hit right by Robin’s head.

While sitting by the campfire on Thursday and Friday nights, howls was heard in the distance west and northeast of the campsite.

This is the picture of where SIR had left a friendship offering of liver on a stump in July.  The food was never consumed while SIR was there.  If you look at this picture you will notice the similarity to what is usually found at the Central Colorado meat pit after they have eaten.  Our forest friends here at South Park were not sure of us and waited until we left before eating the liver.

On Friday, Jon and Robin decided to explore an area that was very squatchy looking.  They found many tree breaks that followed a ravine.

While following the tree breaks and ravine, Jon found a structure.   They continued to follow other tree breaks down the ravine.

This structure was found in the middle of the ravine between several tree breaks.  The logs were dragged and then placed between the trees.  They never did find the stumps of those trees.

They continued to follow the ravine going down towards their campsite.  At one spot it forked off to the right and to the left.  Robin went right.  Something caught her attention on top of the encampment.  She stopped and looked.  Something big and brown stood there.  It then went to her left and then turned and left.

This was much bigger than a deer, elk or moose.  It was not a bear.  It had no ears and was upright.  Its movement was smooth and bipedal.  Robin watched it until it left.  Then she told Jon what she saw.  It was big and mahogany brown color.  She saw it from the waist up since it was standing in heavy foliage.

After Robin swallowed her shock and closed her mouth, they continued down the ravine.  At one spot they discovered some arches that resembled some that were found at the Northwest Colorado location.

Jon spotted some bones that were a fairly recent kill.  One of the leg bones had a spiral fracture.

When Jon and Robin went into the meadow that was adjacent to where the kill was located, they discovered many bones.  It was dubbed the “Killing Field”.

This trip was much more than what Jon and Robin were expecting.  Their first impression of the place was mixed.  Mike encouraged them to go back because of what he experienced on his last night there.  SIR will be going back.  Jon and Robin will have no reservations about going.

Do you allow others to join you on these investigations? I would like to join sometime. I have been a bigfoot believer for some time and even reported a sighting with the BFRO. It more of a sounding versus a sighting in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Thx…

Jim,
Thank you for your interest. Our group is set up to investigate. We are not set up to conduct expeditions for people interested in BigFoot. Our intent is to research. We are trying to gather as much evidence as possible while establishing positive relationships with our forest friends. Most of our research places have an on-going relationship with the resident group there. They are shy and elusive. It is hard to bring in new people. In fact it may change the dynamic of the spot. It would be easy to love the place to death with many people. There is a good chance that they would leave.
I really enjoy meeting other people with the same interest of BigFoot. We are always wanting to meet like-minded people. The best way to get to know us is to come to one of our speaking engagements and to sign up for our newest reports. We will let you know when the next speaking engagement comes up. I look forward to meeting you.

Robin, I really enjoy listening to your radio interviews. Please keep me posted new findings and under standing our new forest giants. I’m from Denver but the last 50 years I have lived in Ohio.
Would love to come out to one of your gatherings, meet all you folks.
Thanks Damon Pfeifer
