Hair Samples

Here’s some hair samples that I’ve found at two nests that are located in Northwest Colorado

Nest 1 is the original used three years in a row.

It has been used again this year.

Here is photos of it and hairs that were obtained from it on an outing on 08/25/2012 and 08/26/2012.

Here’s the second nest

Nest two was found by accident under four huge pines out in the open of the valley on a ridge hidden from sight.

It overlooks the valley completely and allows for a great escape route to the south.

This pad has been used many times as well and is worn all the way to the dirt.

The same type of hairs were found it as well.

It is about 100 yards up hill and to the East of nest 1.

I saw big momma between these two nests late last year.

These two impressive hair samples were submitted by Brad Corless our investigator in Utah.

This was found on an old fire road in his primary research area.

This is 1/4 of the total specimen, which are being preserved for future testing.

He has seen a light colored individual recently in this area from about 300 yards on a ridge.

They match other hair samples we have archived from Colorado.

In conjunction with our hand print, we collected 3 grayish hair samples very similar to this in texture and scope on the side of my truck.

We currently have over 10 separate hair samples in our archives, this being our most impressive.

This impressive reddish/gray hair sample comes from Rampart Range Colorado

They were found when a track line of 20″ prints were found next to a beaver pond in one of our oldest research areas.

We took the whole small bush as evidence for future DNA testing.

The footprints went through the bush and the hairs caught on it as a result of this.

These are very similar to the Utah sample as well.

Here’s some suspected Sasquatch hair samples that are stuck in the sap

Hair samples in pine sapp on a relatively fresh pine break from our Central Colorado research location found on a remote game trail.

We took the top of the this small tree as evidence.

This Black Bear hair sample was provided by Brad Corless our Utah investigator.

Notice this phase is black and hair is very coarse in comparison of our Sasquatch samples.

Here’s some fresh tree breaks and hair samples from our Central Colorado location

The first three photos in this section conveys fresh tree breaks at our Central Colorado location.

This was a cluster of 5 new ones.

Each between 4-6 feet tall.

Each break was on a small Aspen.

This is common in this area inhabited by them.

Every time, we find a tree break, we look at it for hairs from past experience.

On the tree break cluster with two breaks in the photo side by side, we found this beauty draped between the two small trees.

It is gray, 8-10 inches long and has split ends.

It belongs to one of our friends is our thought.

I am not aware of anything else that could have left it, except for another human being.

The split ends and length we find quite compelling and intriguing.

Robert Alley December 23, 2011 at 5:54 am: These samples superficially resemble samples I obtained last week on Revilla Island, Alaska, and were also in a pine which had apparently been damaged by a black bear, with cambium exposed and sap running, and with bear claw marks at 6 feet. Canine tooth impressions were evident at 5 1/2 feet with a two and a half inch breadth to the canines.

The large tracks approached the tree from across a muskeg, then departed with a 4 1/2 foot stride. The tracks were melted and poor but stride and bipedal nature were evident. Hair which I initally assumed to be bear was paper-bagged, labelled and filed for later microscopic examination.

After viewing Brad’s report, I think I’ll move the hair to the top of my pile. It really reminded me of one large sample I obtained two years ago, and I should have recalled the similarity between the two. If Brad wants to compare notes, just have him email me. I have grizzly hair samples as well if you need them, but of course, both bears show the classic ursine medullary pattern.

Scale patterns can be superficially similar to hominids though, I’ve found. I have some new hair-trap constructions which I’m currently testing, and look promising. My current (this years) work is not limited by any NDA’s, glad to say!

Michelle June 21, 2013 at 12:38 am: Interesting. Some of them look like “body hairs” …if you know what I mean. I’m not a believer, but at the same time, I think those searching for this creature are earnest and not trying to hoax us. So get the samples tested. You never know. Either way, I’m wondering what or who that is.
