Bigfoot Research Field Report 05-03-13

by Michael on May 18, 2013

This Colorado Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies Field Report comes from Pike National Forest.  To help explain our successful results while out in the field, we have listed 5 main reasons why:

  1. Willingness to try new ideas or techniques.
  2. Research and go where the signs indicate.
  3. Back up findings with evidence.
  4. Willingness to stay out in the forest long enough.
  5. Being respectful to our forest friends and wildlife.  We use gentler and friendlier techniques.
Our goal in our research is to think of the end result with our forest friends. Do we want to be regarded as a friend or a foe? Do we look at them as a meal ticket or are we expanding our circle of friends?

The key to our success is our respectful manner in which we conduct ourselves in while out in the field. Our forest friends are intelligent and perceptive. People’s conduct and mindset will determine the outcome with them.

With this in mind, the weekend of May 3-6, 2013, SIR decided to go to a new/old area to explore.  It is an area that has not been actively investigated by SIR for a few years.

The results were better than expected.  SIR found signs of their activity all around.  They had visitation from them every night and our forest friends ate what was offered to them in friendship.

SIR woke up to a series of 20+ knocks Saturday morning.  They explored our campsite.  Late one night small pebbles were thrown at the side of the tent by where Mike and Tony slept.  All in all it was a fun and exciting time.

The plan is to continue to offer friendship to this group on a continuous basis.

Here’s a tree break from Friday night that was found on Saturday.  The tree was intact and unbroken when we drove in Friday.

Our forest friends ate the meat from Friday’s evening meal, but left the onion and tomato on the rock.

Can you give me exact locations within Pike National Forest. I would like to do some amateur investigating. I was near Bailey last week and I believe I saw one crossing highway 126 near forest road 550. This is the area i usually explore. Heard three howls in this same area and found multiple tree breaks.
