Sasquatch Research Field Report 03-25-13

The call of the Sasquatch compelled SIR to go camping March 25-29. This Colorado Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies Field Report shows

The camping trip was at one of their favorite spots in the cold mountains of Colorado.  It was a great start for the 2013 season for Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies.

Several snow tracks were spotted, loud distinct wood knocks heard and recorded almost every night; eye shine seen, tread of footsteps heard and full Sasquatch stomachs were highlights of a fun and exciting time.

The exploration of a new area not too far away also yielded promising signs of Sasquatch.  The year will be busy and active.

Four separate sets of snow tracks were found.  All of them were 20 inches long.  Here is a picture of one that was found by Mike.

On Wednesday evening, dark with no one around, Robin heard distinct bipedal steps walking around her while in the facilities tent.  They left quickly when she moved.

Here is a picture that showed what was found the morning after leaving food, milk and trinkets.  The food was consumed but the milk was left.  The milk was not drunk but found some bits of dirt in it.  The stick was moved down and closer to the milk.

When the group was coming back to the campsite from investigating a possible new area, Jeff and Robin spotted something creepy they have never encountered before.  Bones of several different animals were strung together and hung high in a tree.  It looked like bones from coyote, deer and a bear paw was used to make this.  Not sure what the purpose was.  You can decide if it was a talisman to ward off evil spirits or a warning of some sorts.  Your choice.

Our secret weapon for this trip was our junior investigator Trenton and his friend.  Their love of fun and bountiful energy was a joy to see and hear.  They entertained us the entire time.

Can you imagine how our forest friends were curious with them around?  The boys were everywhere.  Very busy and loud young men.  Just what we wanted.

Sounds like you all had a great begining for the year and I very much appreciate you sharing your findings with the rest of the us. I check your site almost daily and wonder if the hair samples have as yet been sent for DNA testing. Looking forward to seeing the results. Thanks.
