Sasquatch Tree Structures
This a celebration of the teepee and how it can be found throughout Colorado in conjunction with the Sasquatches in their home.
The Road Less Traveled
These tree structures were found in Southern Colorado on a recent trip with my son-in-law Eric. We were crossing the top of the range headed back to Parker, Colorado. There were no signs marking these 4×4 roads and I took a wrong turn on a road less traveled. We took this road all the way to it’s end and at it’s end we found these structures on both sides of the road.
The Aspen was broken at over 10 feet right across the narrow road on the opposite side. The triangle about 50 yards away. These are the same type structures I have seen before in this same type of grouping. Some things never change.

This impressive group of tree structures came from one of our southern Colorado locations in August of 2021. There is an “X” near the entrance and a star further up the trail. Please notice how these are put together or held together to last.
This box canyon has little to no foot traffic. We have heard vocalizations, wood knocks and found footprints in this location during the day, which shows how active this area really is for us. It is full of berries of all types as well.

This impressive tree structure complex was found by SIR founder Michael Johnson at Jeff and Theresa Yelek’s newest location in Northern Colorado. All of these structures can be found within 100 yards of one another. The arch is made of pine, which is a first, and it is rammed into the ground. These are generally Aspen. We had activity and visitations to our campsite nightly in this area including vocalizations.
Photograph one depicts an arch with a triangle structure framed underneath made with a new tree break.
Photograph two is an asterisk type structure flanked by a fence posting wrapped around to an X type structure. The fence posting is curved as well. This is a unique and beautiful structure.
. | ||
Photograph three is a magnificent tee pee structure found on the south east side of the complex. This structure is over 60 feet tall and the top of the tee pee is intricately woven together for stability. This structure is made to last.
Photograph four is the asterisk from a western perspective, which ironically forms an “A” structure, which is common though out all of our locations in Colorado. This symbol obviously has special meaning to the people of the forest here. |

This new impressive “X” structure is similar to immense tree structures found in the past. In this category Tree Structures look at selection 15 down from the top of the page as a reference. Note the similarity in size and construction of these two gargantuan structures. This new tree structure is set on a huge stump.
The other was placed in a small live tree fashioned into a ‘U” shape to cradle the two logs. In this new structure note how the primary log in the “X” is held by into place by a branch on it’s trunk in the center. This is highlighted in photograph 2.

. | Photograph 3 shows how the “X” is intertwined into the live tree to help hold it in place.
This structure is located in a very remote wilderness near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Michael Johnson and Tony Lombardo were directed to this location by a local professional photographer who has a history of Bigfoot interactions in this area. |
These photographs were obtained from Jeff and Theresa Yelek’s location in Northern Colorado on a 4 mile hike of the surrounding area where the photograph of the Sasquatch was taken in the summer of 2015. The triangle, asterisk and star structures show the area is active as we speak.

These were taken in remote places well off any road, path or game trail. Many were found in randomly dispersed in the middle of the forest. These repeating structures we feel are indicative of Sasquatches marking their area for other Sasquatches. As you can see, they are in areas where very little normally occurring dead fall is present. | ||

This is a collection of tree structures found on a recent outing by SIR in the Central Colorado Rockies. Please pay attention to the uniqueness of each structure and it’s symmetry. They have meaning to some one and they took quite a bit of time to create. Pay attention to the weaving required to make these structures. They stand out to the trained eye. Always remember, we find the Sasquatches first, then we found the structures.

This impressive tree structure was found in Central Colorado in a place frequented by Sasquatches. They often stuff branches into the trees and weave them into place. There is no water or drainage in this area. It is free standing in the middle of the forest. We do not know why at this time they exhibit this behavior, but felt it was worth showing you as we have seen this same behavior in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah where Sasquatches are present.

This triangle structure was found on the ground near one of the tee pee’s in section 5 above in Central Colorado.
The sections above and below both start with triangle structures found at tree structure complexes in different states.

Just looking at your “gifting” pictures and your “tree formations”. I can’t believe how many pictures you guys have found of all these tree structures !!!! Have you considered calling “Finding Bigfoot” to do an episode out there. I have seen almost every episode and I don’t believe they have ever investigated a particular location because of a tree structure. I think that would be very interesting, especially since you have had so many of them. Truly the most interesting I’ve ever seen.
thank you,
Mike Voyles
I have found a tee pee structure of a smaller variety in my state park, about 14 feet in height, not impossible for humans
to have done, but I see that the method and design match yours. Thanks for the data as this confirms somewhat my
suspicion of that structure. I also have heard vocalizations in the area around my house over several months last summer. Does your team do any investigations that are closer to urban centers, that is sort of my niche at the moment,
and do you see behavior differences between the ones living on the edges so to speak vs. the ones in deep.
Is there any reasoning behind the tee pee structures? As a former sceptic I am now leaning towards the possibility they exist. It would make a whole lotta sense that the sasquatches learned of the tee pee structures by observing native Americans of old. They would definitely inspect abandoned Indian villages(observing them from afar when the village was occupied), but it makes sense that they would inspect an abandoned village and see the old tee pee structure after the covers were removed and thus use that formation as some way to communicate/imitate.
Incredable. I wonder if known primates have had a code broken in reguards to stick formations.
After seeing these structures I’ve got the chills all over. Damn, archery season or any hunting or shroom season will never be the same again. My eyes and ears and everything else is opened to these signs now but I’m puckered up tighter than a frog’s @$$. A friend and I have an idea for a Sasquatch short film. My friend has expressed interest when I asked him, not because he wants to believe in Sasquatch, actually he’s very opposed to their existence but I think the reason he wants to help me is because he wants to disprove their existence. He’s a very experienced outdoorsman and we’re back country boarders (Powder Cowboys on Youtube), so he’s been all over these hills his entire life and he’s never seen anything to lead him to believe but once we start filming in the areas I know about I have a feeling he’ll come around and since he has actually expressed interest in filming with me tells me he may want to actually believe but he’s not going to ever tell me outright and I hope he doesn’t but instead finds out for himself. We’ll actually be trying to build these structures, it will be a good exercise in trying to figure out how the Sasquatch do it. I am in fact trying to disprove them as well, every frickin day but… I’m not afraid of what my eyes have seen or what I felt. Strange, I never thought I would be involved in such a thing as this, ever!!! Great photos, we just got another two inches in town, when will this winter end so I can get back out there?
I have seen and photographed very similar tree structures in SW Colorado, visiting these sites and hearing vocalizations every time. Huge aspens manipulated into formations shaped in a half circle, seemingly like a ceremonial chamber. The area is heavily used in summer, and heard angry growls even with atv’s passing nearby. Interesting pics you have here!
I first saw one of these structures one hundred feet from my cabin in the wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan. This province is not known for sightings to the best of my knowledge and watching a recent documentary it seems this is an unlikely place for them as there seems to be a direct correlation between heavy precipitation and their presence. I believe it was implied heavy rainfall provided the abundance and variety that would be needed to support a large primate but the map clearly showed that this climate is not particular to the pacific northwest’s costal resin forests. The structure by my cabin is towering at about forty feet. I came to this spot and spent one night unclothed and unarmed under a full moon to be reborn there before I realized the potential significance of this spot and what the structure is. It is located in an old growth forest and I felt drawn there to be reborn. I feel it is some kind of sacred ground.
Please excuse the spell check on my iPad as it keeps changing my words. I have really watch it.
Don’t let the networks know where to go.It would be horrific to the study and habitat with all the seekers.
I have a dozen pictures of simular tree structures from southern tier New York. I’d love to share if interested.
It amazes me how sooo many researchers are now documenting (whether they realize it or not) exactly what Native peoples have long claimed regarding Bigfoot… that these are a people far older than man, part spirit, and quite capable of language. BUT they also claim there are many Sasquatch… some far moire human than others. It amazes me how no one says…WOW! THE NATIVE AMERICANS WERE RIGHT! Probably because everyone racistly blows off one of the most important sources of information on these creatures we have… people who shared their environment with them for 1000 years or more. Native peoples have long claimed these beings are capable of things NO WHITE MAN WOULD BELIEVE, yet “paranormal” (events long experienced by man as far back as record-keeping goes) research is showing us (if you are paying attention) that there is far more going on (usually caught in the IR and UV) than we as a people have been taught to believe. Now if we would just stop ignoring UFOs, imagine what we might discover. Few realize the academic denial of the paranormal is based solely on superstition alone, as Science has never exposed such claims to any scientific scrutiny, just as they have ignored the existence of the soul… and Bigfoot. Does no one understand, Wildmen were chiseled into Cathedral walls for a reason. Brett Allen -Cover UFO magazine 2009
Hey there–I have arches, X’s, asterisks, and 10 or so half teepees in my woods by driveway; it’s a deer trail
and quite active; the woods empty to state land (green acres) here in west NJ… I have heard one howl and had
a whistle answered late at night (calling my dogs)…I’m glad they feel secure enough to hunt so close to my
farm house…being a woman might help and I try not to go too far into their “backyard”…they have been respectful
of my space so I will accord them the same. !

I sent you pictures roughly a year ago of arches and 4 inch trees bent into large x’s with other sticks woven through and a tromped down circular area with all sorts of teepees and stacked A shape and X shapes in a forest in southern indiana. I took my son for the first time today, roughly a year later and we had a rock thrown that landed right between us. We looked around, saw noting, but heard a lot of movement in the woods out of sight in a ravine below us. I took him back into the woods much further and showed him the overgrown structures from a year ago and thinks that they look like they were made and we got the creeps being in the area.
I find it hard to believe with all the technology available it seems to easy to hoax. But on the other hand there is an awful lot of structures, to many to hoax. I do want to believe like a lot of other people. You do have my attention. Keep em coming.
