Sasquatch Rock Structures
All of these bigfoot research pictures were all taken by our Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies team.
This portion of our website gets the most negative comments. In fact, this is the only part of our website that does.
I have studied cairns, ducks and the like and are quite familiar with all human related rock structures in the woods having been in them extensively for 37 years.
This evidence is quite compelling. It will show you communication between two beings. Me and my Sasquatch friends as we communicate through rocks over time.
Rocks are an important of a Sasquatches daily life. They use them to throw, they use them to communicate, they use them as gifts. Shapes and sizes are important. Stacks are important.
Gifts of rocks, I have received many. Location of a rock stack to a Sasquatch is different than to a person. People put them on hill tops, trails and the like. Sasquatches do not.
Their locations have meaning to them, not to us. They can be on the side of a hill in the middle of nowhere. Often they appear quite random to us. Like I have said all along, “people make rocks structures, Sasquatches are people, Sasquatches make rock structures as well.”

I could not see the back of the cave. I could easily go into the cave but I was uneasy about this cave and did not go in there. Instead I explored around and behind it. I then continued my way to the ravine.

wow. very interesting and very similar rock structures.
When I see these interesting rock structures they make me think of the 12 stone altars the Jews made to God…
Do these stone structures always have the same number of stones in them?
You can’t be serious? Anyone could have done these! Moreover, are you claiming sasquatches in Australia?! Never heard that one! Where would they hide? In the small and dwindling forested areas?
Keeping up credibility is very important.
There is a huge amount of reports of people seeing yowies, aboriginals have been seeing them for thousands of years. There’s even been reports of people in the First Fleet seeing yowies. By the way, there is no small and dwindling forest areas, the entire east coast of australia is basically forested, mountain chains running down the entire east coast. Yowie reports even come from western australia, north and south. Australia is a huge country that is about the same size as the US.
Hi David,
I live in australia and yes, there is a Australian version, it’s anglicised name is Yowie. Thought to be derived from Yourri. There are many other names for it but Yowie is the name that has stuck amongst most of the people who are interested in it.
I actually took both of those photos.
I came across the first stack when I was with Dean in the Blue Mountains in 2005. We we’re traveling to a site where there had been multiple sighings of multiple creatures. The second I took in 2008 with my brothers at another location in the Blue mountains. You’re absolutely right, people can and have made rock structures. BUT the remote location and reason for it had us scratching.
The first marked a small game trail that crossed the dirt road. Very very steep and led to a deep forested area. The second which was three years apart was on top of a ridge leading down to a dam.
In both areas numerous sightings of large hairy men had been reported for hundreds of years.
When I first heard of the Yowie I was very much of the opinion… Here in Australia? No way… this is just pop culture repeating itself.
It wasn’t until I had some scary encounters in the bush where I grew up that I felt that there was a truth in the mystery of it all. And there is… tree breaks, stalking and foul smelling encounters that had me freaked before I even knew about
them.
As of yet, I haven’t had the luck to see one clearly but a small number of trusted friends have.
The reason I discovered this post was I was actually looking up yowie rock stacks, I had lost some of my data and wondered it the images were still online. So here they are. Good on Dean for sharing them… good luck with all your research.
Oh and Australia is VAST… we pretty much live along the coastline and like yourselves there are immense tracts of land that are virtually impassable in wet seasons, dry seasons. We recently discovered the Wollomi Pine, and ancient pine growing with in a hundred kilometres of Sydney. There are so many secrets out there.
It’s a weird addiction that only a few appreciate and understand.
Cheers Buck
Hi David, all our evidence is obtained by weeks in the field in some of the remotest places. We go to an area for year after year in some cases. One place, I had been frequenting for 22 years now. No rock structures ever. About 2 years ago they appeared 900 feet down in elevation, two mountain ranges back, on a side hill in the middle of nowhere. The only person I have seen their in 65+ plus trips in this canyon is a Sasquatch. In fact, more than one. A male along time ago and a female a few years ago. The female was pregnant. She dropped a nest when we surprised her. The next year there was two Sasquatches and two rocks stacks. Sasquatches are very much like people, they build rock structures, they build stick structures, they have language, and they give me round rocks as gifts. Their children play with rocks. I know this from years in the field with them. They clack rocks together as well. Rocks are a big part of their lives just like their human counterparts.
Finally, long ago, I learned if your worried about your credibility you should not be a Sasquatch researcher. You should not have a Sasquatch website. You should do something safe and easy. I am here to help them and tell the truth. I am explorer and a woodsmen and mostly I am their friend. Plus, I have yet to meet a true Sasquatch expert. There aren’t any. I find there are some of us lucky enough to know more than others because they allow it. I am confident Sasquatches make rock structures, stick structures, crosses and the like just like humans, which they are related too. Look at the hand print, then get out a magnifying glass and look at your dermal ridges. They flow down the hand the same. It tells me all I need to know…In Australia, by the way, he is the Yowie, another relative…..Thanks for your e-mail…Mike-SIR
The rock structures could have been put up by anybody, depending on the weight of the rocks.I would say the track prints are more convincing. But still it could be somebody doing that.Hope you do find Bigfoot.
No offense meant here because all your other evidence is some of the BEST I have ever seen.
Your wood knocks put Finding Bigfoot to SHAME. But these rock structures are what we in California
are called Ducks. We use them to mark trails that are harder to see. Especially in the Rocky Eastern
Sierras. So either your Squatches like to hike and use the same trails OR other people very rarely hike
in that area and use them to mark their trails. Big fan of the site!!!
Paul, I too have seen rock stacks like this used to mark human hiking trails, though over on the east coast. But these are decidedly simpler. Almost all of the man made ones I’ve seen are more like a house of cards, while these are just vertical stacks. Also, I think it unlikely that humans would make these in such remote locations. If you’re that deep in the wilderness you’re usually either lost or you already know where you’re going. Either way, you wouldn’t build one of these. Just my 2c. To the SIR, you have one of the best collections of evidence out there. Keep up the good work and say hello to our friends in the woods for me!
One thing I have failed to convey. None of these rocks structures are on a trail. You can see that in the photos. They are random in the forest and mark nothing in most cases. They are generally found in conjunction with foot prints, tree breaks and locations where we know Sasquatches are frequently and people are not.
I’m not trying to be a negative nancy, but these are in all likelihood man-made.
There’s an artist that placed these in Boulder Creek a few years ago. And we had some hikers mark our rode with one a few years ago (there’s access to a trail and it’s a rustic road).
The common practice in the back country is to add to them when you find them, my mom taught me that, as the mark trails especially trails above timberline. Not only do they often mark trails but also caves or even good views. Heck, I’ve made some in the back country off trail far from anyone else, just because there are rocks nearby and I’m taking a Luna bar break. It’s a way to say “I was here,” and to see if I can find it again in the future.
They also last a long time, a simple stone wall on an exposed cliff on our property (stacked rocks no mortar) is still around around 50 years after my great aunts and uncles built it.
It’s an increasingly common practice, and people are increasingly comfortable in the BC thanks to GPS and lighter equipment.
Heather, have you failed to read either the post by Michael Johnson clearly explaining he has seen these rock structures in conjunction with foot prints, tree breaks and in a locations that he has been going to for years? Oh yeah, and having seen Sasquatchs in the same remote place over a 22 year period of time, then having rock structures built in the same place. And I know your not “trying to be a negative nancy,” but you are clearly being ignorant. My two boys and I also enjoy leaving a rock pile here or there when we go on camping trips or day excursions. But we don’t leave 16 inch footprints, tree breaks or run in the woods wearing a gorilla suit everytime someone passes one of our rock piles.
Heather,
There is nothing wrong with questioning our research and what we find. I would like for you to read and look carefully at what we have shown. There was something about each of these stacks that did not seem to be man-made. They were not what we would expect when we normally come across stacks in our investigations. We as a group have come across hundreds and hundreds of rock stacks. How many do you see that we have posted? Much less than 1% of stacks we have come across garnered our attention. Why is this? The stacks were unusual in where found (usually not on a trail/ in the middle of nowhere), size, color, how it was made and the type of rocks used. I hope this helps.
I welcome all questions about our evidence. I hope to answer some of them especially about the rock stacks we find while out investigating. First off unless we see one making a rock stack we are never a 100% sure it is Sasquatch related but we have come across some that we suspect are Sasquatch related. The following are several reasons: The location the stack is found, color/type/size of rocks used and how it was made. Most rock stacks made by people are rocks found close at hand, marking a trail and then piled. When I come across a rock stack that is not a typical example of what I see made by people I will examine it very carefully. I have come across stacks that I suspect is Sasquatch related because of the following reasons: Made with rock not found in that location, the careful stacking, number of rocks used, size of the rocks used. color of rocks used and why was it made at that spot when it doesn’t make sense. I have encountered 100’s of rock stacks in my investigations. How many do I have that I have photographed as possible Sasquatch? Less than 10. That should put in perspective our careful and cautious approach that we have when we come across a rock stack. I hope this answers some of those questions.
I think that rock structures 1 and 2 are warning of the steep slope. I think it is a warning of dangerous terrain ahead and the Sasquatch that is trying to tell other Sasquatch and possibly humans as well that the terrain is dangerous and they need to be cautious.
Your thinking is a possibility. No one knows the reason why they are made. Sometimes by looking at where they are made and how they are made will give us clues. On one investigation trip I encountered 5 rock stacks that were about 1/2 mile apart and by a stream. I am almost 100% sure it was not human made because it didn’t make sense because of where they were found and why. To this day I am not quite sure why but it may have something to do with where they were traveling and where they were going to sleep. One of the rock stacks was on a pushed down pine tree with a nest made from the branches at the other end. I think the other stacks where telling others who and where it could be found. I have never seen anything like this before. There could be various reasons why with the stacks. Just like there are many reasons why people make them. I just hope people won’t dismiss rock stacks because we make them too. Maybe one of the reasons why they do is to mask their handiwork in plain view. They are human smart and have the intelligence to do just about anything. Thinking like they are regular wildlife like bears or deer is a major reason why they have eluded us. Thinking of their humanity and primate side is the key to unlock this mystery.
Thank you for some great information. In your finding of rock structures does the bottom almost always stick out to one side? I notice that in your pictures.
I found an antique hammer in the middle of a national forest in Michigan. The thing was half buried under old dried pine needles and leaves. The hammer handle was nearly eaten away by termites, but enough of it left you could still hold the hammer in your hand. There was no reason for that hammer to have been where it was…unless it fell out of an aircraft or something…long ago. Which I doubt. Maybe it got there by some force of nature like a tornado throwing off it’s debris. Clearly it wasn’t a Native American artifact. The head of the hammer is cast iron. So why was it there? Who lost it or left there? No real answer; just a mystery. Just maybe, a sasquatch found it and then left by the tree where it had been tree knocking long ago! Or, maybe, it was used to crack open muscle shells and nuts? I don’t know. It was just odd to find an old hammer deep in the middle of no-where, and that the hammer was probably from around the early 1900’s or so.

I remember a few years back I was hiking off trail in the Lost Creek Wilderness in Colorado (a noted big foot area) and as I was working my way down a steep hill and through the deadfall I noticed something laying on the ground just ahead of me. It was a nickel!! I thought that I had just made the find of the century!!! As I bent down to pick it up the thoughts ran through my head of how long could that nickel have been there. I picked it up and to my surprise it was only three years old. How could it be that some other PERSON was walking off trail just as I was, yet they were. My point is that that nickel did not fall from the sky and some big foot did not drop it.
To my disappointment, the lost creek area has been invaded by Denver. There just not many places left where MAN has not left his impression on our National Forests.
I think the rock cairns are interesting. The food being eaten though is attributed to sasquatch, though I believe there are other animals around? Would those other animals also sense and eat the food? Be careful. Cool site, I will bookmark.
Vеry good information. Lucky me I found your website by accident (stumbleupߋn).
I’ve book-marked it for later!|
Every weekend I visit this web site, as
I want enjoyment, since this website has conations that are in fact good and funny information too.
You realize the rock structure you found looks like a like an erect phallic symbol,as does the Yowie Hunter’s… NW Native Americans have long told the story, over 100 years ago, that Sasquatch (Stick Indians) have a vulgar sense of humor…
These rock piles look like an ankle and foot heading in a specific direction.
Stacked stones are called cairns and ancient cairns are found all over Eurasia and North Africa; while the rocks on the stumps could be celestial alignments; something to consider since ancient astrological sites are found all over the world; and still practiced by the world’s indigenous peoples like North America’s Inuit. So many think North America has no such sites… Google Paul Bunyan’s Boot in Colorado. Sadly, too few ‘researchers’ listen to the wisdom of Native Americans who shared the woods of North America for 12,000 yrs, and who say these are ancient beings, some, highly intelligent ‘indians.’ Roman accounts of conquests relate many strange races of genetic aberration from antiquity… including dog headed humans and hairy giants. The Christian Bible is no different. Most have no clue that many ancient dolmen (huge balanced stones) also exist right here in North America, or that several biblical figures were “hairymen,” se’ir or satyr, meaning hairy. These ‘demon’ or hybrid races were painstakingly left to us chiseled into medieval Christian architecture…why? Myth tells us these Hairymen or wildmen, were considered highly intelligent woodland deities; in fact, several Native Americans names include descriptors that seem to come straight from Genesis. The fact is, while many researchers see no connection, North America is covered with ancient megalithic structures and dirt mounds; and dozens of biblical locations and characters have now become proven archaeological FACT. Why does Chaco Canyon look like Gobekli Tepi (tepee?)? Why do glyphs found in Olmec ruins also exist in Turkey? When will we stop believing Columbus was the first to make it to North America or that America itself has no ancient past, or that modern humans are all there ever was… or more correctly, is. Google the giant elongated Paracas skulls, you can literally walk here from Peru. But if you really want an education, read the Book of the Hopi, and you’ll come to realize why the Spanish burnt the codex of the Aztecs and Maya as works of Satan. Our history is far stranger than we many understand or are willing to admit… but can easily be appreciated witnessing ancient megalithic cultures… Bigfoot or Hairymen did not appear from a vacuum, and seen all over the world, are most likely a living part of that ancient history.

I find a lot of rock stacks when I research here in Colorado. It is definitely some form of communication or something of significance. I have seen the rocks on top of flat stumps like that as well. I research mostly west of Denver.
I like your website and I’m glad I stumbled upon it. I’ll be a frequent visitor. I hope, in a way, that no one ever captures or kills one of these beings. It would break my heart to see them in a zoo. I think they’ve managed to elude us because they’re highly intelligent – possibly as intelligent as humans – but retain all their animal instincts that we’ve lost. Or maybe they have been captured and the government has covered it up. Think about it: If this species is clearly identified and documented, there would be worldwide pressure to pass laws to protect them. Sasquatch habitat is also prime logging territory, at least in North America. So news that this species really does exist would have an adverse effect on the logging industry. From what I’ve learned, Bigfoot aren’t found by looking for them. They observe us and make themselves known when they feel safe. The Jane Goodall/Diane Fossey approach, over a long period of time, could work. They may be more comfortable with women and would easily identify human gender differences by our body language and smell.
