Sasquatch Research Oddities

All of these bigfoot research pictures were all taken by our Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies team.

This last Saturday I went by myself to Rampart Range to investigate north of one of my old spots.  Here is the fruits of that’s days labor. I hiked over 9 miles up and down about 1100 feet in elevation change to achieve this set of photos through snow and steep terrain, but it was worth it. I will show you why. I will go through step by step why this was a good day and what I gleaned from this spot. It will be enlightening.

Picture 1 shows what I always like to see.
First man in.
.
This is important because it rules out human intervention. This is very important for calling and track lines, if you’re so lucky to find one.
.
The snow averaged about 12-16 inches this day, except on the southern facing slopes.
.
On the walk in I found 5 old tree breaks. They were clearly old, so I did not photo them, but this is always a good sign even though theyare old, do not discount them.
.
Picture 2 shows a fresh tree break less than a year old.
.
This is good because it tells me they have been in the area recently enough to be significant.
.
My guess is this one is from the summer of 2011 based on the look of it.
.
They do this eating leaves, so there is logic behind why I look for these and consider them important. They are just one piece of the puzzle.
.
Picture 3 is in the open near the main game trail. It speaks volumes to me. It is two tree twists next to each other.
.
These two tall ones are not the result of eating leaves. One is at 11 feet. See the knife for scale. The shorter one next to it is a good foot or so shorter.
.
They mark what I would call a tall man trail and I am starting to think they could say look how big I am and how many I am as well, but this is only speculation.
.
I say this because similar behavior has been seen at my NW Colorado spot and the number of twists and there size seem to correspond to the number of Sasquatches that are there at the present time.
.
Picture 4 is what I have dubbed a sentinel tree. They mark boundaries. This one is in the center of the valley for all to see right before you move in the canyon area.
.
They are broken off at the top yearly. It is the only one broken at the top with more than 50 similar sized trees in the same area along the edges of the valley.
.
Its location speaks volumes to me. It is dead center at the entrance to the next area. This says you are entering my realm to other Sasquatches.
.
All off our research sites on Colorado have sentinel trees. On the home page, my photo is of the first sentinel tree I found at my original spot over 20+ years ago.
.
To this day, it is still broken off yearly and often times we find cinnamon and gray hairs on it. My original tree is dead center in the middle of a deep ravine in deep grass about three to four feet tall. Both are visible from all directions.
.
Picture 5 is in my estimation a show of strength. It is on the south slope in the sun where they sleep during the day and watch for deer and elk to wander into the canyon.
.
The roots in the canopy are 30+ feet from where it once stood. No other wind damage is present in the area. This is at the bottom of the canyon.
.
I am confident it was placed there. It says to other Sasquatch’s there is an Alpha Male in the area.
.
I was roared at last year in February of 2011 less than a mile from this location near a small lake on private land. I was calling from the boundary fence because I suspected they maybe residing there to avoid humans.
.
This is one of the reasons I went here to look at this location. I approached from a different direction on National Forest land.
.
Picture 6 is a bed down about 7 feet long and 4-5 feet wide. The shoulders are towards the top of the photo and butt towards the bottom.
.
In others like this I have seen, they do not put their legs into this bed just their core for warmth. They dig it out with there hands.
.
This is why there are clearly defined edges. They were two of these at this location.
.
This one was less than 20 feet from the tree trunk in the canopy perpendicular to it on the south side of the hill. This was the bigger of the two bed downs.
.
Picture 7 is a view from just above it looking down the hill to the snow and stream below.
.
I am showing this as you can see the edge more clearly and you can see this southern exposure they have purposefully chosen because it has no snow.
.
The rim was a good 4″ to 6″ inches tall in some places.
.
Picture 8 is from NW Colorado. This is an old one I photographed in 2010. It is not cleaned up and was longer used in 2010. It is under a tree as well.
.
In 2009 when I found this it was cleaned  out better and you could clearly see the buttocks of the massive entity that used it.
.
This is on the upper edge over looking a steep drop off into our primary valley below. It overlooks the meat pit area and has a clear view of the valley for miles.
.
Picture 9 is the view from the other side. This bed was strategically placed along a game trail.
.
The reason it is no longer used is a large tree fell just above this spot and blocked the game trail and it is no longer used by deer and elk that have be rerouted by the dead fall rendering this spot of no use to this entity anymore. Thus, it was abandoned in 2010.
.
Picture 10 is a simple crow. During my Sasquatch calling that day this crow and a friend, both scavengers, heard me and came to give me a look.
.
I am sure they were hoping I was a Sasquatch with a fresh kill. They didn’t not leave until they had identified me. Predators are followed by scavengers.
.
This is the same in North America and it is in the Serengeti. When a pride of lions kill a buffalo, the vultures are sure to follow.
This is important. Notice the signs. They speak volumes to me. Michael
.

.
This large tree structure is located in our Northwest Colorado location overlooking our ravine.
Sasquatch Research Tree Structure NW071
The conjunction of branches is approximately 9′ tall, and two of the branches are jammed in from the top down, which couldn’t be accomplished by humans.
.
We speculate this is a sign that may indicate this is a home area, and their evidence in the area and experiences, such as beds downs and constant activity seem to support this speculation.
.
This is the only structure in this area we have found. The ravine below this is clearly marked with broken trees on either side of it.
.
The trees are broken 1/2 way up with the bottoms alive and intact and the tops dead on the ground. We speculate this is a territorial marker for other Sasquatches.
.

.
This stick structure was provided by our Utah S.I.R. investigator, Brad Corless.

This stick structure shows complex workmanship.
.
It has trees broken and grown into it.
.
It has live large trees bent into it as well, which makes it unique.
.
The second picture shows the other side of the stick structure

.
In our Northeast Colorado location, we have seen what we believe is Sasquatch bedding behavior.

Bigfoot Baby Nest Picture

Baby Squatch Bedding In Colorado

This behavior was first seen in 2008 when bedding was found with two large pads just like this about a 1/4 mile uphill from our camp accompanied by what we believe was a pine nest.
.
A tennis ball, horses bridle strap and a dog leash was found next to the two pads. That year baby arrived in conjunction with the nest. Please, see baby prints.
.
Those prints our of mother and baby from within our camp site. This is what was found in a different location in 2010 near our meat pit location closer to our camp.
.
It we believe is mothers resting place in 2010, which she cleans. Please note that deer and elk generally urinate and defecate in their beds. None of this is present in this 2010 photo. The babys pad was smaller and about 5 yards above hers up hill.
.
In picture #2, the mothers pad in the exact same location in 2011. She has stayed in same spot. She has extensively cleaned her pad since that date and time.
.
No other animal or ungulate I am aware of exhibits this behavior. Note there is no feces and urine as before.
.
In picture #3, you can see a close up of massive finger marks left as she cleans and rake’s her pad to keep in clean from 2011.
.
In picture #4 the baby’s pad has moved up hill under a tree 30 yards away. In 2010, it was less than 5 yards from mothers.
.
As he gets older it moves farther away. Baby does not clean his as well as mother, we feel due to his inexperience.
.
Please note, this is based on what we have seen in the field. Elk and deer bed downs are common and not like this at all nor do they use the same place twice or for a full summer.
.
I have seen mother in the clearing less than 30 yards from her pad in the evening. Therefore, it is logical to speculate that these are being used by them.
.
Plus, I am confident in my conviction these represent what is portrayed here by having seen momma close by.
.
She is reddish/brown/gray and is massive and is magnificent.
.
In picture #5, you see the nest for baby as it existed in 2010. This nest is 1 year old at this time.
.
It has deteriorated greatly since when it was first constructed in the spring of 2009 with green pine branches.
.
The nest site was subsequently found by me in late August of 2009 and was still green.
.
Two pad’s similar to momma’s bed listed above would have been to the left in this photo in 2009. All three beds were in a row.
.
What I find most intriguing is the branch left on the log. This indicates to me care and thought in the construction of the nest site.
.
I was going through a CD recently from 2010 and found this picture of momma and baby’s bed downs as they existed in 2010.
.
Baby’s is small and is the first one in photo. Momma’s is in the fore ground.
.
They were close together until 2011 and baby moved up hill away from her. Here is the proof.

.
This fresh tree branch was placed outside our tent while we were sleeping.

Bigfoot Aspen Branch

Bigfoot Picture Of Aspen Spot

In the morning we found this Aspen branch next to where Michael’s 11 year old son had been sleeping, and it was placed next to his head.
.
No one in camp had placed it there.
.
Later that day a member of our group found a small Aspen tree break next to the ravine on the abandoned logging road behind our camp about 150 feet.
.
As you can see in the second photo, they were a perfect match.
.
We have found random branches in our camp often.
.
We have no idea who or what placed them there, but felt since this behavior was exhibited in Ron Morehead’s Sierra Sounds CD referencing the bushy Alders on the shelter roof, that it could be an important indication of possible Sasquatch interest in you.
.
We speculate this could be considered gifting behavior.

.
This plate of food was left out at night and consumed with no bite or claw marks.

Bigfoot Plate Full

Bigfoot Plate Empty

Sasquatch Oddities Plate 3

We always plan to have food left over in our camp, as it’s a ritual to leave food out for any watching Sasquatch.
.
The plate was left after dark on 08/06/10 on a stump, and the contents consisted of turkey fat, beans, peas and hamburger grease poured over the top, to create the juice seen in the first photo.
.
As you can see, the plate remained intact with no bite marks of any kind, the juice was not spilled, and no footprints were found near the site.
.
This has happened night after night at this location, which we now call “the meat pit”, as this has become their preferred food.
.
We have found large bipedal footprints in this area in the past, and we have unsuccessfully tried to photograph the culprit with our stealth cameras, but the images are whited out on every occasion.
.
The third picture shows the plate from the meat pit. It had raw liver on it and it stuck to the plate.
.
The culprit that ate it peeled the meat from the plate leaving no teeth marks or claw marks, which I found quite intriguing.
.
I will let your draw your own conclusions as to why you think this may have happened this way.

.
These clear and colored objects were found in the same area, as possible gifts

Bigfoot Picture Of Double Tray

Sasquatch Picture Single Glass

Bigfoot Picture Of Double Glass

Bigfoot Picture Of Balls

On 7/17/2010, Michael and his Trenton left these two trinkets as gifts in their remote feeding station in NW Colorado.
.
Photo two was taken on 08/7/2010, when they returned to check them at this spot.
.
The clear object was gone and the blue object was moved to the location in photo number two.
.
These two objects were flat. One was clear and the other was a light aqua blue.
.
With our success in this experiment, we decided to leave 2 round trinkets in this same spot to see what would happen as we left on 08/7/2010. These two new objects are the third photo. One is blue and the other is light pink.
.
We returned on 08/15/2010 and found that the round objects had been moved as well from their prior location in photo 3. The change is subtle, but noticeable.
.
No known animals I am aware of covet inanimate objects, and there was no evidence of any human activity of any kind in the area. We purposely mark our fire pit to make sure no one has visited our camp site at the end of the road and it had not been used in either instance.
.
We understand this evidence is circumstantial and may not be Sasquatch related.
.
However, based on reports from other organizations and years of studying their behavior, we felt it was important to present, so you could decide for yourself. Gifting is real and it is what sets Sasquatches apart from animals. Animals don’t gift.
.
Gifting is a unique phenomenon and when it starts, it takes on many forms.
.
We have left camp for supplies and  have come back to find our outfitters tent unzipped upon return with pine branches stacked in it.
.
We have be left huge pieces of fire wood, some so large we could hardly move them to use them, which we always do out of respect for the gift.
.
Those events left us scratching our heads in disbelief, and made for rough nights of sleep, but we always push to try and nurture this behavior to continue as we perceive it as acceptance and a sign of friendship, which is one of our primary goals.

.
This Sasquatch research event occurred in March, 2011 in Gilpin County Colorado.
Bigfoot RV Upside Down
While Michael was researching a possible Sasquatch sighting that was reported by some campers, he accidently found this formation of 4 large tree stumps that had been hammered into the ground upside down.
.
This location is a remote forest service facility that is gated and fenced, with no access, so Michael obtained the picture with a long range camera.
.
Similar activity was recently discussed on Animal Planet’s ‘Finding Bigfoot: Alaska’s Bigfoot Island‘.
.
We are curious as to what is its significance. Who made it and why?  Why would the Forest Service copy Sasquatch behavior?
.
Or did Sasquatches who are in captivity in the gated community make it?  We don’t know?
Do you? Please share any experiences you have had with this Sasquatch mystery.

.
As part of a Sasquatch research event in 2009, I left this large piece of fruit for them.
Bigfoot Evidence Fruit Picture
It was spit out on the ground in front of my campsite on the road.
.
It put the whole piece in its mouth is my thinking at one time and spit it out in the dirt.
.
That’s when I switched over to meat products and in the Northwest Colorado location and this never happened again.
.
I should have collected it for DNA, but I did not. I admit openly I have made mistakes, but they get less and less as the years go by.
