Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies encourages you to contact us and let us know what you’ve experienced. It doesn’t matter how long ago it happened or how crazy it sounds – we want to hear about it.
Anywhere in the Rocky Mountain corridor is of particular interest to us because we are based right in the big hills of Colorado.
We take every report seriously, and will follow up with you if you wish. If you just want to file a report anonymously, that is fine too.
Some things to include in your Bigfoot sighting report are:
- The location (as exact as possible).
- The date and time of day.
- The weather conditions.
- Your contact information if you want us to follow up, which we prefer.
- Include as many details of the encounter as you can remember accurately.
- If you don’t want us to post your story, please let us know, otherwise we will share it so that others can read it.
Please, no fabricated / hoax reports, you will be wasting your time and ultimately ours. We’re very serious about Sasquatch research, and any data you are kind enough to share will be greatly appreciated.

At 830pm on Wednesday February 15th, 2023, single digits..some snow. something with large feet was on our RV door steps. We are in Ignacio Colorado, close to Durango. The odd thing is…the just disappeared or we couldn’t find any off the steps. The bottom picture show my fiance size 13 on the right. It got suddenly cold too ..I’m just seeing if it could be a bigfoot, the other options scare me..I have a video on TikTok but not sure how to download it here.
I live in Eastern Canada, I’ve seen their foot prints on a few occasions quite massive in snow and left on the trail. I’ve heard their roars too. Thought I saw one off in the distance near a power station, seemed opaque looking. There maybe truth that they are some sort of inter-dimensional being related to the ovni sightings.
After moving to summit county, CO, I have been researching the Sasquatch(s). The weird part is yesterday I walked to my car outside, and found multiple red tangled balls of what looks like human hair attached to white-ish scabs. I took a picture and friends said it looked human immediately. The trees next to the hair had multiple slashes in the bark, and have been dismembered. I don’t know how long the trees have been like this, although I do know it looks like an animal visited at some point. The red hair was brand new. I left it outside although I have pictures of it and may go seek to find it in the morning when the sun comes up again. Thanks.
I had a very alarming experience near the Wasatch range in approximately 2006 or 2007. Probably 2-3 of them, my girlfriend at the time witnessed eye shine and what she described as a humanoid approximately 8′ tall peeking around a tree at her.
In 2022, I checked reports on another website to guide my search and went on a solo expedition for 3 days in a Southern Colorado county. In a remote high mountain meadow (which I later realized I was followed by something into) I heard one loud (warning/territorial?) call far off and subsequently removed myself to the catchment below. T The call was in the spectrum of a lynx/bobcat type, which I have heard before. However this call was MUCH louder and ended in a higher pitch.
Hiking out I was following game paths which turned into obvious predator tracks (coyote and bear). In this area there was a lot of wind fall, as many of the evergreen had died. A few areas stood out as if natural windfall which had the “right” geometry had poles added to create a teepee or dome-like structure of more evenly-distributed poles.
At one point a large tree blocked the path. In a natural gait, I stepped over the tree with my left foot and nearly STEPPED INTO a bare left foot humanoid track.

Reported the incident of 03/13/25 between 1PM-2PM to US Forestry Helitack Base the day after the sighting. Driving North on California I-5 West of Sylmar, California minutes from the California Aqueduct Plant, witnessed a 12 foot tall Bigfoot, or larger sitting on a self made stump from a snapped tree facing South on a mountain side in plain sight. Kept driving, but pulled over a few exits down the road to use the restroom. Amazing! Gave the US Forestry the coordinates of the exact location on I-5, also Google Map the location, and found the tree intact. Latitude 35.33592 Longitude -118.
