Bigfoot Sightings Reporting Form

We understand Bigfoot sightings can be a dramatic and scary encounter and we realize how difficult it is to talk about it with people who probably don’t believe you anyway.

Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies encourages you to contact us and let us know what you’ve experienced.  It doesn’t matter how  long ago it happened or how crazy it sounds – we want to hear about it.

Anywhere in the Rocky Mountain corridor is of particular interest to us because we are based right in the big hills of Colorado.

We take every report seriously, and will follow up with you if you wish.  If you just want to file a report anonymously, that is fine too.

Some things to include in your Bigfoot sighting report are:

The location (as exact as possible).

The date and time of day.

The weather conditions.

Your contact information if you want us to follow up, which we prefer.

Include as many details of the encounter as you can remember accurately.

If you don’t want us to post your story, please let us know, otherwise we will share it so that others can read it.

Please, no fabricated / hoax reports, you will be wasting your time and ultimately ours.  We’re very serious about Sasquatch research, and any data you are kind enough to share will be greatly appreciated.

Simply provide the information in the comment box below.

Thank you!  The Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies team

In and above the willow creek drainage. October, mid day, clear and sunny. Hiked up the sunny south face to the south side of this area to get in some early season back country snow boarding. Made the top, strapped in and headed into the trees. After a bit it got to thick with blow down trees and had to start hiking. Came upon a HUGE X. Looked around and there were 4 examples of stick structures in 20 yards of each other. Started hiking again and found one more about 50 yards down slope. Have pics! Also found spiral fractured deer bone and track in this area the previous June. Have pics! Was made uncomfortable( With infrasound i assume ) and saw something large and dark fill in a gap in the trees above our camp 4 times in about 60 seconds. All in basically this same area. The BFRO blue forum has a report from this general area as well.

Dear Sirs;
Upon watching all investigative reports, I would like to add a possibility to the so called wood knocking. I feel this noise described as WOOD KNOCKING, could actually be a vocallization. This can be done by forcing the tongue to the roof of the mouth, and forcing the tongue toward the rear of the mouth, creating a wood knocking sound.

Chas is your “possibility” based on personal experience, other reports or a theory you have? I’m not discounting what you say as it is certainly something to be considered. I guess anything is possible with sasquatch & i cannot doubt what you say as i’ve never heard a wood knock other than from someone i was doing research out in the wilds with. Based on the sound made from another researcher i was with, it would be amazing if sasquatch could make that sound with their mouth as it’s a very loud reverberating sound 7 certainly would get your attention.
Best regards
Walt

My name is Chris. I was recently elk hunting ( last August 2017 ) in the San Juan Mountains near Del Norte. I spent 14 days in the back country and had 2 bigfoot encounters. On one ocassion about 15 miles in the back country at about 11,500 feet we were surrounded by things moving in the twilight morning of opening day. We sat still in our hunting blind waiting for elk. Then started what sounded like wood knocks but I do not think wood knocks are really what they are. I think it is either their hands clapping, or their mouths popping. Its too exact and too perfect every time. As the sun came up, a tree came crashing down on us. Thankfully we heard it crack and looked up, we ran and got out of our blind. We took off and hunted elsewhere. On the last day, we ended up back in the same area but even higher and farther back. This was full of Moose, Deer, Elk. We sat up in this field at about 12,000 ft and waited. As the sun set, I heard movement, then the knocks. This went on for 2 hours. Then right when it got dark, the popping knocks got within 20 ft. and this was the loudest popping knock I have ever heard. We got up and ran out of the blind and back to our quads, and drove home.

Hi there. I live in Denver…just stumbled across your website while reading about the Oregon BF stuff. Anyways, I know this isn’t relevant to your research but what the hell. It’s 1 am and im wide awake.

About 20 yrs ago when I lived in rural Nebraska the tuffest guy in school said he saw BF in his own back yard. He swears by it. If you would even casually joke with him about it he would threaten to knock you out. This particular sighting was just east of Hubbell, NE. The entire area out there is limestone..caves and fossils everywhere. Its 98% farmland there. My friend even found an entire dinosaur about 20 miles south of there in KS.

He saw it at night in his back yard which is adjacent to basically nothing…just limestone hills and forest. Of course no one ever believed him and it didn’t help that he was drunk. People always liked to poke fun at that fact. Unless he smoked some PCP that night I don’t think any amount of Busch Light is going to result in that kind of hallucination. Just always thought it was interesting. This guy would never make something up like that…he was like the Fonz. Thanks.

Hello,

I have an area out side of Denver that I have been watching because of some things I have seen and heard while hiking in the area. Yesterday I found something really odd and would like to send your group some pictures of what I found to get your opinion.

In case you haven’t heard.. there has been another Bigfoot episode in Estes Park. Hair and footprints measuring 14 x 10 inches were found at the top of Elm Rd. More can be found on this story in the February 1, 2013 issue of the Estes Park News. I’m always looking for Bigfoot and I know they live in these beautiful mountains…Namaste.

Hi Guys. I was out in june of 2009 with your investigator Dave Ottke who is a good friend of mine also. We were just outside of Jefferson Co along a stream. We found a footprint of a “possible” juvenile sasquatch along with a structure or shelter, some pine bows piled on top of each other at a bend/split in the trail, possible scat & a possible second footprint. We were able to cast one footprint which i still have & took pictures of everything else we saw. I’ll be glad to send the pictures along for your perusal.

saw a BF coming out of a forested area in colorado onto a meadow area as I was driving by it at dawn. it was huge bear size, but not a bear. Auburn brown hair. sat hunched on all 4’s as I drove by @ highway speed. I didn’t go back to investigate. I saw it in 05/06 time frame. I’m not prone to sensationalism or exageration. I’m now almost 70, and don’t need the alacrity that goes along with admitting that I’ve been witness to something strange and unusual.

Me and a few of my buddies were mowing a hay field off of a remote road ( chicken farm road) in butternuts township NY its in the mountain region of upstate ny. The mower broke down so we decided to go home for the night and come back the following day after barn chores and finish the rest of the mowing and tedding. later that afternoon after barn chores me and my friends drove out in my friends toyota tacoma to the location to finish the mowing. when we got there me and my one friend started working on the mower on the edge of the road. My other two friends started to connect the tedder and the tractor. The field had been half mowed on the right 8 acres and the left acres was left unmowed. the part that was mowed had been partly tedded along the edge of the woods the day prior and left three foot tall windrows of hay. Now I have seen coyotes fox and bear rumage through the windrows in the past looking for mice, rats and turkeys that may have gotten chopped up by the mower. But what we seen had changed out lives. My friends started teding along an existing windrow making a new windrow. they got about 500 yards away from us going up a small hill. when about 100-150 yards in front of them a huge 7′-7’6″ 400-550 pound giant hairy thick human like creature popped up from behind the windrow turned and started to run away. this hairy gorilla type animal was a good 60 yards from the woodline. With only 10-12 bounds in was in the woods. we walked back to investigate the location immediatly. Some how this unknown creature managed to hop a 4 foot high stone wall and a barbed wire fence with ease. It also went up hill through open hard woods I.E. oak, maple, cherry ect. 300 to 400 yards before it could have been out of sight in the thick undergrowth of the brush lot. we were at the woods edge within one minute and it had already disapated the sceen and was clear out of sight. My friends were within 150 yards of the woods said the animal was very quiet as it entered the damp woods. we looked for tracks and signs and had found nothing. We all talked about the situation after words and decided to post something on the internet after word to see if someone else had an encounter in the Gilbertsville NY area. I have hunted my whole life and had taken deer bear and almost all northeastern united states game. This animal was like nothing I have ever seen its was not dog like cat like or bear like. Its shoulders were atleast 3 feet apart. Its neck was as thick as a humans hips. Its head as wide as a small car tire. It ran with such ease. And jumped higher that any human I had ever seen even at a track event or even a professional sporting event.

About a week ago, I was running East of Hutchinson, KS. As I was running, I stopped dead at the sight of the strangest tracks I’ve ever seen. They were like a really large barefoot human. But there was no way they could be human. It was below freezing, and we had just had an 8 inch snow a few days prior. The tracks were in the snow. There were no claws. The print was as long as my 10 inch shoe, but twice the width. I took a picture, but it didn’t turn out well. A week later, and after another snow, I took a friend (and a gun) to look for the tracks. We found two new sets. Both of us agree that they are human-like – but not human. I got one more picture that turned out – not perfect – and we accidentally ran over the tracks before noticing them. The strangest part was the gait of the creature. It didn’t make sense, unless there are two – or it was walking with hands down. The prints were very imperfect – not like a shoe of any sort. I posted the pics on FB, and I had lots of jokers coming back with, “It’s Bigfoot!” In my heart – I think they’re right. THEN, I just noticed there is a show this Sunday night about sightings in this area of Bigfoot on Animal Planet. All of a sudden, I am entertaining a thought I never imagined true. Let me know if you want the pics…

Why is it that no one mentioned the noticeable bigfoots in the second picture with the arch and the guy standing by it. There are several baby bigfoots in that photo there just in camaflouged mode. Mike

I was skiing at a big resort in Central Colorado. My ski instructor and I were riding a lift when we heard this bang-pop coming from the west. I said, “was that a wood knock?” an the thought it was someone falling off their skis. But then, we heard another, louder bang-pop come from the east, not the west. The second one was clearly something hitting a tree, so I knew it was a wood knock. Then, I started thinking “maybe the first one was actually a wood knock. Once we reached the top of the lift, we told ski patrol what we had heard. I had an instinct to check the area where the second knock came from for evidence. So, my instructor and I skied down there. It was 2 feet deep of snow, so I tried walking down there, but had to slide down on my stomach. I noticed something that looked like a track, and I thought “Bigfoot,” but then, I noticed another track next to it. This track was clearly barefoot, a left foot and had obvious toes.t was maybe a little over a foot long, so I am guessing it was made by a female Sasquatch, and the same one that knocked.

i would like to start hunting for a BF. not to kill one but to witness one and perhaps get video and some other evidence. How could I get involved and draw from this groups research and contribute my own research?

Would be interested to know more about Northern Colorado interaction. I had my first in around 2000. At the time had no idea Colorado was possible habitat. Experience left me shaken. Since then have rethought other incidences including possible siting of juvenile in Northern Colorado on a mountain pass a couple of years before 2000. Since first hair raising experience have returned frequently with my daughter(now 11) and different friends and had incredible responses to whoops. On one occasion my good friend and his two daughters as well as well as my daughter all witnessed loud wood knocks on either side of our position within seconds of my whoop. My friend, still a skeptic, was taken back by response and his two girls nervous for the remainder of our outing. Have had possible/probable audible class b sightings more than a dozen times in same location.

Hi, I am was wondering if there has been sighting off 287. I am a truck driver, I pick up 2 to 3 loads a day, I work nights 7 to 5 am, last night it was a clear night, half moon around 12:00 midnight, I was going on 287 and I crested the hill to turn onto a dirt road, there is a pull off just north of the road. I crested the hill, and seen something hunched down, I said wow a bear, but it was rusty red color, I said there is not grizzly here, and I turned my high beams on, and It stood up! on two legs! and took 2 strides and it cleared that road! THERE WAS NO MISTAKEN IT WAS MAN LIKE! It was as tall as I was in my semi! About 7 1/2 to 8 ft. It didnt raise its head, it kept looking down, and went into the field, it had to clear a 4 foot fence, to get into the pasture, where there is cows. I could see his muscles in his arms, they were very long, pass his knees almost, long hair, rusty color. I had an instant fear, to almost panic. I hunt, not scared of the woods. but this scared me to the point I almost got sick, and my chest hurt. My semi probably would have done him no harm if I was to hit him. I have never seen anything that large in my life. It was Aug 15, 2014. My number is ###-###-####.

I stumbled on this sight and thought I would share an experience I had when I was 16 years old. It did not happen in the rockies, in fact not even close. So I realize it will probably not be of any interest to you. I can count on one hand the number of people I have told this to for obviouse reasons. But, it did happen. I know what I saw. It scared the hell out of me. And at my age and at this point in my life, I really don’t care what anyone thinks about me. So, here goes.
This happened in my home town of Tonawanda, NY. In the summer of 1977, I was working at a local resaurant about two and a half miles from my home as a pizza maker. It was a weekend so the kitchen was open very late, until 2am if I remember correctly. After the kitchen closed, we would have to clean up and do some minor prep for the next day. That usually took about an hour or so. I would estimate it was approx. 3:15 am when I left work to head home. At 16 my drivers license was restricted so I couldnt drive after dark. So my Dad would drive me to work, and after work I would run home. I loved to run. It was the only athletic thing I was good at. After a long night in the kitchen that run home was all I could think about. I loved it. So, I headed out the door and started my run down Niagara Falls Blvd. heading towards my neighborhood (Parkview). About a mile and a half I made the left on Dexter Terrace turning in to my neighborhood. Just a short curve to the right, maybe a quarter of a mile to the elementary school (Dexter Terrace Elementary). At this point in my run, I would turn left and cut across the back of the school. This was a large grassy area. It had a baseball field, some swingsets, things like that for the kids in the neighborhood. This area parralleled(sp?) a set of railroad tracks which would have been on my left as I was running. Along the edge of this field separating the railroad tracks from the playgroung area was a chain link fence. This fence was higher than a normal 4 foot fence. It was at least 5 feet high, maybe more. I never measured it. Along the fence about every 20 yards or so were lights mounted on polls. Not too bright ,just enough to illuminate the area. There had been problems with vandalism at the school in previous years so these lights were put up as a deterant. As I made my turn, I set my sights on the corner of the school which just so happened to be the closest I would come to the fence during my run across the feild. About a third of the way to the corner of the building, I saw something coming in my direction, only it was on the other side of the fence, on the railroad track side. I saw it as it passed under the first light and immediately thoght “wow, thats big!”. I was fixated on it as I ran. As it passed the next light I realized it was fixated on me as well. It was at this point ,as I was getting closer to it, that I could see just how big it was. Easily six and a half or seven feet tall! It was way taller than that fence!. It was all black (yes I realize it was 3:30 am) and I could clearly see its face looking right at me as it moved. I wouldnt say it ran, rather it had a very long gait and covered a lot of ground as it moved. I was running and it was walking briskly at best and was covering ground faster than I was. I wasnt sure what I was seeing but I knew this was something very unusual. We both approached the area of the field by the closest corner of the school at about the same time. And its eyes were glued on me! Just as I approached the corner of the building, it came over the fence. Now what I mean by this is, it never changed its stride. It just stepped over the fence with a little jump added to its gait! Now I have climbed that fence at least two dozen times in my life to go retrieve foul balls hit over it. I had to climb that fence! There is absolutely no way I or anyone I knew could just jump over it during a run let alone a fast walk!! It was at this point that I, absolutely scared to death, turned on the speed! I sprinted the remaining quarter mile to my house! I ran inside, literally scared the hell out of my Dad, physically drug him out of bed in his pajamas, grabbed the keys to his car, shoved him in the passenger seat(still in his pj”s), and floored it all the way back down to the school parking lot to try and show him what I saw! Needless to say, it was gone. And I was in trouble.
I know what I saw, I know how big it was, I know what it looked like. I had 20/20 vision back then. My Dad, of course, thought I was on drugs. Which I wasn’t. I know what I saw.
Those tracks had two ditches running on either side of them. At points it was very wooded back there. I had explored those tracks up and down as a kid. The tracks were elevated but the ditches that ran along them were below eye level. It would make a perfect travel corridor for wildlife. I had seen plenty of deer and other animals back there many times before. But never anything like this. I can honestly say that it scared me so bad that I never made that run home again. And I never went back in to those woods by the tracks again either! I swear on the memory of my parents and on my childrens lives that what I have written here is the truth.

as a young man I was raised in the Roosevelt National Forest which is about 8 miles north of. we rented a small cabin and now we own land there in the small township that is actually grandfathered into the Roosevelt National Park. our cabin was actually built in 1941 when the man that the world was coming and he took his family into the mountains and built a basic bunker with two two tressed roofs on top of each other gun ports and one foot thick adobe walls
after the war did not make it to this man’s front porch he sold his land. to my grandfather . as a reading this I’m leaving details say on purpose. .I’m just giving you a few things to think about why did then President Roosevelt put 200 thousand acres right there in the four corners to where it could not be built on ? sure you will say for conservation of the forest but what else conservation of exactly what else. .I won’t pretend to know and if you knew I would be very surprised.
if Bigfoot did not live in the Roosevelt National Forest he does now. maybe he was already there or maybe he migrated there because of the solitude. ok on with my story.
I was raised in those mountains as a single child I had a few customers that came and visited but most the time I was alone from ages 7 years old to 15 years old I attended school nearby tourist attraction needless to say most of the houses that were built around us were for tourists and generally nobody lives there maybe one week a year sometimes nobody drove past my cabin in the woods for about 16 to 20 days at a stretch. to try to describe to you how remote this place was I would tell you that we had a mountain lion epidemic but that is another story and is documented in local news there all this time living there all these years I knew I wasn’t alone my grandparents became sick and needed help I move there back when I was approximately 24 and stayed until my grandfather died when I was 34 he was a ww2 vet so he was pretty quiet most the time just thinking smoking his pipe staring in the woods when I was about 30 we I had to initiate this by I suppose actually having something in common with him I had to develop and that was my intricate knowledge of World War 2 history. we both had had a number of experiences running into creatures few times that something had come off of the mountain step to the edge of the bunker and hug the stove pipe where the coal burning stove exited the house even in extremely cold winter I’ve never ever heard of a bear doing this the pipe coming out of the stove was so hot that it has left burnt hair on it .I said before my details here are going to be vague on purpose I don’t want anybody to find this place and I don’t think it’s a good idea to go looking for Bigfoot stories of it moving very fast behind trees and then laying down and looking to the side from ground level behind the tree while staying behind the tree in the blind spot and climbing elevation in the blind spot before exiting fast I believe those descriptions are spot on. pretend to know more than I do and I am not trying to convince you of anything other small observation is we had a monarch stream I dug all of the silt out of the Dam which was about 20 years of silt after the Big Thompson flood of 1976actually about 26 years of silt build up I did this in a drought year I wanted to gather the water so the fish would not die they were in a stream it was a bad route that year so the water wasn’t running fast at all definitely not fast enough to fill the trout it was almost full again something has been digging under the rock face on our property and had been putting the silt or the ground the dirt in the water and it washed back into the pond so I’m going to tell you that this creature will walk into a stream burrow underneath the rock that is probably facing south for the or that will get sunshine and stay warm at least through the cold winter nights. because these rocks absorb solar radiation during the sunlight uses the streams as paths to both mask it sound and its sent will be aware of you before you are aware of it If confronted will stay very very still until you doubt what you saw or you regain your mind and realize that if it is a bigfoot you’re not sticking around I warned you about confronting these things don’t do it
hunters can’t find these things normally or bring them in because of one simple fact predators smell gun oil. .but if you’re someone that refuses to carry a gun and still wants to go hiking in the Rockies by themselves then 3 & 1 oil will work. where it liberally in the wild it is the smell of danger to the dangerous predators namely the mountain lions and ….. another thing to look for when you are walking or hiking in these areas extreme quiet where there should by life no birds chirping nothing eerie quiet I called this area hunted out if you’re being quiet and hiking alone and don’t hear anything no Bluejays no birds do you see no wildlife to be aware of your surroundings and listen for the sounds if there is a stream that a brook does not make. hikers don’t wear what they called bear bells when you are hiking or running you just look like a fun piece of meat to a mountain lion. which after all it’s just a big kitty. now that is my story there are a few clothes in there for those of you are that are very perceptive where you may look but I would not suggest it and if your and you’re going to do any hiking where 3 &1 OIL.

Idaho encounter. Mid morning Nov. 5th 2014, While searching for deer sign during deer season, my brother and i stumbled upon what seemed to be human foot prints, I am an avid hunter and i am very familiar with what a bear track is so this was ruled out right away. On further inspection, we noticed what looked like dermal ridges and a clear arch in the prints, there were around 8-10 tracks across the hillside in the sand. Along with the tracks were the rib cages of two dead deer. One was lodged under an old wrecked automobile, and the other not to far from that site. Even more strange, was next to the vehicle that housed the deer rib cage, was 4 small sticks dug into the ground. My brother and i thought this odd, so we examined closer to find one of the rib bones had been buried beneath the 4 sticks. I have never seen anything like this and i have no idea what to think other than a possible big foot. We took pictures and documented the incident. Feel free to contact me via email.

Upstate NY sighting. I was hiking with my girlfriend about 30 days ago, knowing we would lose this beautiful weather we have here during the summer shortly. We are avid hikers and frequent many different local parks. Last month we were hiking in the Adirondack Mountain range, a trail we have visited multiple times prior to this visit, and about forty minutes into our hike we stopped to take a small break and just enjoy the view, and next thing you know there he/she was. It was no more than 30 yards away from us and semi concealed in what little bit of shrubbery there was in that specific location. Now, I was never much of a believer myself, I’ve seen the shows and viewed some evidence online at times, but always figured if Sasquatch was real we would have absolute proof by now. Well, I know when to admit my faults and I know what I saw. I saw a Sasquatch that afternoon with my girlfriend in the Adirondack mountains and was able to keep eye contact for roughly 8 to 10 mins until another group of hikers came along making more noise than her and I, and ultimately spooking this creature away. I have the specific area where the sighting occurred, date and time, weather conditions and a still rapidly beating heart. Id like to discuss in more detail if that’s possible. Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge on this subject, I hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes, Michael.

I have been silent for years thinking exposure is dangerous.It now looks like they may get protection if real.From 1989 to 2014 “we”have had at least one sighting a year minus a couple years we couldn’t get out.There has been much construction in the area of sighting, and now the sasquatch seem to be on the move.This seems like a good time to find them. Someone really should contact me.

Hi I went backpacking near Ft Collins, Colorado on 2/14/15 with my brother Isaac and my friend Jake and the time was 10:00-11:00 pm the weather was cloudy with no wind. We captured a Bigfoot scream on video when we saw some light in the distance on the top of a hill we thought it was a UFO so Jake pulled out his phone and started videotaping the light but the lights turned off right as he started the video so you can’t see them as the video was filming we captured something else. It was a scream not by any animal or human we believe the noise we heard in the video was a Bigfoot. There was no one up there but us it freaked us out we hid in our tent with our knives up all night. Once the sun rose we packed up and hiked out. In the morning we searched the area where we saw the light and there was nothing but we were so freaked out we packed up and left. We checked the sign in paper to see if anyone else was up there but there was nothing.

Tree Breaks mean that the Sasquatches are giving you a warning, “Do not go beyond this point” A friend with 50 acres of land asked me out to identify what was going on on her property. There were lots of sections with tree breaks, If the knock on your house they are saying they are hungry, or the kids are playing,because the parents generally let the juveniles run free, they can be invisible, they can show you their eyes, or their full being. They are not there to hurt you, they are telling you this is there land. I have communicated with them, you can leave them apples, bananas, & candy bars. I am so against anyone trying to hunt them down, that you will not be told my location. If they are fearful they will break 30 trees in a row to keep you away, they are more afraid of you, then you could ever be of them. they can wall though walls, they are not out to kill humans, place don’t ever try to hunt to kill them, you will not be successful. If you see lights it might have been there eyes glowing.

My name is John Herrera I live in Arizona. Anyways I had a Bigfoot sighting recently on Feb 15 2015. I have always believed since I was a young kid that BF was real and had always hoped to see one or two in my lifetime. Well on this day I was Blessed with seeing , what I believe was a family of Bigfoots .It was one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me. It was totally Awesome. I was able to get a few pretty good photos with my phone before the battery died.I have also made some plaster cast of some of the tracks I also have a whole bunch of pictures of the tracks Can I send you a few for your opinion.its been 34 days n they are still hanging around wish you could come here n check it out.I have kept it as quiet as I can, for there safety the BF family that is. I have told a few people and showed them the pictures some think that I am crazy n full of Krap but I am telling you the truth. That’s why I am reaching out to other true believers. I haven’t been able to think of anything else since that day. My wife thinks I am getting a little to obsessed I don’t think so, I’m just trying to get as much evidence as possible before they leave the area , because I think they are just passing thru the area. I have been hunting n camping in these remote mountains for more than thirty years and have never ever seen anything like this. Well this is what happened, to get to what happened that day. I decided I was gonna take a good hike with my dog Scooter. I got up early about 5:45 am and was able to leave my house by about 7, it only took me about twenty minuets to get to the top of the mountain to where I was going I got there n headed west of where I was . I was on a high mountain Mesa about seven thousand feet above sea level, well as I was walking along I saw this strange track it didn’t look like a human foot but it was kinda smeare in the moist soil since it had rained the day before and it was cloudy and about 38 to 40 degrees out and a little breezy.Well then I saw a few more and one track looked like a barefoot human track not much bigger than my sz 9 I remember thinking to myself who the heck would be running around up here barefoot. Then my next thought was maybe Bigfoot no way I say to myself it’s kinda small it can’t be Bigfoot. Then I came soon a track that was way bigger than the one I had just seen, about that time my dog started to get a little excited and was sniffing at the tracks I didn’t stop and think about the fact that these tracks were fresh, about then I got a kinda weird feeling like I was being watched or something So I decided to stop and look around with my binocs there were a lot of trees around but also a lot of open area as I looked over by the ridge above me maybe 75 to 100 yards away and maybe thirty yards from the top of the ridge, there he was, he was looking right at me and I was looking right at him we stared at each other for about ten to fifteen sec. He didn’t move and neither did I I’m not one to curse or use foul language but I remember saying to my self and my dog nofreaking way motherf. That’s bigfoot I then moved my right hand off of my binocs he had his left hand shading his eyes as he was looking at me, when I moved my hand he slowly lowered his arm then slowly turned around and walked into the line of trees behind him that’s when I got a good look at him because he stepped into the sun before he was more of a shady siloette except that I could see his face, now I could see that he was mostly gray haired it almost looked a light green . I always I would get scared n haul ass, but I didn’t feel scared at all I just wanted to see more so I ran after him and so did my dog scooter I had to yell at him to get back here I was scared he would get hurt, thank God he listened. Because I was able to get some good shots of maybee five of them maybee more all huddled up under this tree also at that time I observed them for more than an hour I didn’t dare go any closer . I saw what looked like a teenager smaller than the others and very female looking the face looked white some looked almost gorilla like it was a strange mix I have got pictures if you would like to see them . I will only send you pictures of the tracks for now, until I know for sure that you guys are truly serious . Sorry if my grammer in not that good I did this whole message on my phone I gotta go my battery is almost dead. Please get back to me asap I think our window of opportunity is running out. Sincerely. John M Herrera .

As many of us Coloradans, I have spent many hours hiking, horseback riding, camping in the mountains and have a great love and respect for them. In the last year I’ve encountered some things to mystify me, considering that I have lived in Colorado for the last 27 years, and I have now chosen to share them. At two very separate locations, seven months apart, I have come upon and photographed tree structures so striking to me with it’s raw engineering of dead wood, or wood intermingled with the living– that I went online recently to look for similar structures. I did locate some pictures that greatly suggest what I have seen and photographed, but they did not have the clarity of what I had seen. I had experienced suspect tree breaks before, and have heard tales of signposts made of trees, and behavior of Sasquatch of legend, if not Animal Planet, so when I saw the first such structure, I knew in my soul that it was not done by a herd of teenagers. The first location I speak of was in the San Isabel National Forest and we were horseback riding in August last year. In two hours or so on the trail, we found five separate structures composed of obviously manipulated smaller dead trees and branches. Three of which were of the teepee shape 10 to 14 feet high, the fourth was a modified version among a stand of aspen, the fifth was much lower to the ground and smaller alongside a rapidly flowing stream, but it was still put together similarly with dead branches.

In December of the same year, 2014, I did a usual hike closer to home in a Jefferson County Open Space Mountain Park in west Jefferson County. In many parts of that park that is joined with several Denver Mountain Parks, the trees and terrain are dense with lodgepole and other varieties of pine. Granite cliffs and boulders line the higher elevation to the west. Winter walks when the trails are good appeal to me for the fresh air and exercize. As it is rather frequented by hikers, there is a certain pine tree just off the trail, that people put Christmas decorations on every year and it always brings a smile. I saw it but passed, then decided to turn around and take the tree and holiday spirit in more fully. As I stood there grinning at it, I heard for the first time in my entire 51 years, a huge, loud, cavernous, growl that boomed from yards and yards away–from an area far more remote to the west and north of me where there are no trails. I froze in my tracks and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I had never heard anything so deep and booming– even so angry a sound. I know what mountain lion sounds like, and we do get them there, but this was unlike anything I’ve ever heard before, and I was afraid. I had studied music including voice in college and what I heard came from huge breath support in the chest and a huge vocal cavity. I hurried down the trail quickly with my skin crawling and nerves activated long after I got home.

Early March this year, 2015, I went back to that same park after several months absence and hiked my familiar trail. Passing the “Xmas tree” and continuing on down the trail for another 15 minutes, I came upon what looked to be, I’d say, unfinished yet striking tree structure along a trail I had frequented months before. This was new. A week later I came back with my digital camera and did a shortcut up a service road and happened a glance off to my right and barely caught sight of a conical shape of dead trees in among a more remote set of dense pine trees. Having the experience of last August in the National Forest, I walked slowly afield towards what I had glimpsed in the trees, and little by little it revealed itself to be just like,in character and size, as those I had seen last summer. A rough hewn teepee structure of dead smaller trees around a living single pine. The branches above elaborately woven at the top of a good 11 foot structure. I took numerous pictures of it, and then of the smaller one I had seen the week before. The resemblances of these structures 100s of miles apart were eerily uncanny. A few weeks later, in April, I returned to the same Mountain Park and found a 3rd, rather unfinished structure at the top of a rise much further away than the first two.

Well that’s my report to date, and I’ll continue to keep my eyes open and camera ready.

Hi John. Your story sounds facinating. I’m a big fan of BFRO. However, I can’t understand why they never obtain real authentic, clear cut photos. I would LOVE to see your pictures. Can you email me. I’m just a regular curious believer. Question. When I visited Colorado last week for my birthday, me and my guy visited the Rocky Mountain National Park. I saw two things that made me say hummm? I saw a dear’s leg on the side of the road…hair and all. About 20 steps down from it were dear bones. Any idea what that was about? I also saw a bunch of Teepee looking objects..about 3 foot high. There were lots of them scattered throughout a somewhat wooded area. I may have taken a picture. Are you familiar with these structures?

My Hunting Trip

I’m going to tell you a story of one of my hunting trips. One day my uncle asked me if I wanted to go elk hunting. I never turned down a hunting trip. He told me that we were going to a new area. There were six in our hunting party. We split into two-man teams and all agreed to meet back at camp at 5:00 pm. My cousin and I decided to hunt up one of the ridges on the far side of the meadow. My uncle and another hunter went on the ridge one over from us.
We didn’t have any luck seeing any game. Two groups met up at the meadow and talked about hunting back to camp by going through another draw. As we were walking through the brush, we came across a log structure. At first I thought it was just a slash pile that loggers left behind after cutting trees down. My mind was focused on finding elk, NOT log piles.
My uncle said, “Look at these logs! They have not been cut by man.”
I said, “So?”
He replied, “No saw marks… no ax marks, and no hatchet marks.” Then my uncle said, “Where is the tree stumps for these logs?” We looked around. The closest stump was fifty yards away. This log structure stood about eight feet high and thirty feet around. The logs that were in the pile were green and were 6 to 8 inches around and ten to twenty feet long. There was a two-foot opening at one end. No one wanted to be brave and crawl in to look around.
My uncle said, “Do you smell that?” It was a musky smell. I thought to myself, what died?!? Shortly after the smell I thought I heard a woodpecker, and my uncle said, “That’s NOT a woodpecker.”
I said, “What?” My uncle replied, “That’s rocks being slapped together!”
An eerie feeling came over me and the rest of the hunters. It was like we were being watched. We decided that we would back out of the area and go to camp an easier way. When we got back to camp, we told the other hunters what we had stumbled across in the middle of nowhere. After we got a bite to eat we decided to play cards inside our sheepherder tent.
It must have been around 10:00 pm when my uncle said, “Hey! Quiet!”
We all calmed down to listen. We could not hear anything. It was very quiet… nothing moving and no breeze. So we went back to playing cards. I thought it was my uncle trying to play a trick or cheat at the card game. Five minutes went by and my uncle again said “Quiet!” This time he said “Look!” as he pointed to the lantern that was hanging from the center of the tent. It started to sway, and before we knew what was happening, the tent collapsed on everyone!
I remember that my uncle was the closest to the tent door. He opened it and started yelling for us to come out as fast as we could. It was dark, and we all were grabbing for flashlights and weapons. I grabbed a flashlight and a hunting knife. One by one we exited the tent. My uncle told us to all spread out. He said that we needed to find out what made the tent come down.
I stepped around to the back of the tent and listened. I heard something walking through the brush. It sounded like someone walking through dry leaves. Stepping around the tree that was in front of me, I hoped that I would see whatever it was that was making the noise. I flashed my light around and saw nothing. My cousin walked up behind me and placed his hand on my shoulder and asked in a soft voice, “What’s that in front of you?” I asked, “Where?” He quickly grabbed my arm with the hand that had been on my shoulder and said, “Don’t move your flashlight!” He reached around me with his flashlight and waved it at the area that I had my flashlight pointed at. He said, “Here!” When he did that, the creature took two steps sideways. My cousin said, “What is that?” I replied, “I don’t know!” My cousin exclaimed, “That’s not fur, its hair!”
What we were looking at appeared to stand seven to eight feet tall. It walked on two legs, and the weight looked to be between 600 to 800 pounds. It was a rust color. What came to my mind was a very large man in a gillie suit. This thing was thirty feet in front of me. This all took place in about fifteen seconds. As we stood talking about it, it dropped to all fours and started to run away from us like a gorilla. My cousin said, “Let’s get a better look at it!” So we started to chase it down an old abandoned logging road that led downhill towards the meadow. The moon was full that night with no wind at all. I felt like I was in a cross-country race, and the race was in my favor because it was going downhill. I used to be able to run the mile in 4:30. The closer I got to this thing, the thought in my mind was, what do I do now?!?
I got close enough to it as if it were a quarterback on a football field that I could have tackled or jumped on its back. I couldn’t see the face through all the hair. I did see the hand and fingers. It had a flat back. I could see the triceps and biceps as they flexed. I tried to hear if it was tiring from running, but it was not panting. My cousin could not keep up, and he started yelling, “STOP! – STOP!” I yelled back, “WHY?” He said, “STOP” again, so I broke off the chase. I kept my flashlight pointed in the direction Bigfoot was heading.
My cousin finally caught up with me and said, “Listen!”
I said, “What?”
He said, “Do you hear anything?” I told him no, and he said, “You should! We should hear something running. That means it’s just standing outside of the range of the flashlights!”
I asked him, “Why did you yell ‘Stop!’?
“Think about it!” he answered. “Wolves trick domestic dogs into the woods away from their home, where the rest of the pack will pounce!”
An eerie feeling came over me. I suggested that maybe we should head back to camp. Once back at camp everyone wanted to know what we had gone chasing after. No one else in camp saw it, but they did say they heard something big running. They also told us that the reason the tent came down was that two of the corner stakes on the outside of the tent were pulled up. These stakes were metal and were pounded into the ground with an ax!
Since that time I have been back to that area half a dozen times. I have seen fourteen-inch tracks. I’ve heard more rock-knocking, and one night I heard some good vocals from two different locations at the same time. I feel that I know how to get them all worked up if they are in the area. One of these times my son and I knew that the closest person to us was at least twenty miles away. It doesn’t leave a lot to your imagination on what’s making the noises. They are big and hairy. I’ve been chased out of the area twice now.
I still want to go back, but I will not go alone!! (Experienced first-hand)

I have had multiple sightings of a Sasquatch around the town of Fenton. He is approximately 7 feet tall and has a very prominent presence in the area. He is not scared of human interaction and has been caught repeatedly coming up to houses and near Fentons downtown. He seems to have somewhat of a routine and has been sighted frequently at the track around 8 am. Of you have any concerns on the matter feel free to contact me.

Holy Cross Wilderness, about half a mile below Whitney Lake. June of 2014.

I don’t know what made the tracks in the snow, but there were large, deep tracks in about knee to thigh high snow. The footprints were spaced by an enormous distance. 6-7+ feet. No drag marks in between tracks. I couldn’t tell how old they were, but my guess is a few days old. There were no signs of human contact, probably because there was thick snow still on the mountain (much to displeasure).

I thought I had heard strange noises at night outside my tent like something was grunting at me. I figured it was a bear at the time, but it sounded like the grunt in the audio recording by Jeff and Theresa Yelek at the 16 second mark. It was that short gruff, and to some extent even “rude” grunt. I say rude in the sense that for a moment whatever it was did not want me there, like “get out of here.” The lines holding down my tent fly had all been cut/damaged/eaten/whatever happened to them over the course of the night. There was no measurable wind that night.

Again, there may be some perfectly normal explanation for it, I am just relaying facts here.

I’m not taking a position either way on what made them and this is the first time I have posted something like this. I just figure I would let someone know if it can be of any use.

On 5 Sep 2015 My Son-in-Law and I were hiking in Central Colorado at about 10:00 a.m. when we came across a tee pee structure of trees stacked upright against a center tree. The measurements were 11 feet across and 6′ 10″ high. None of the trees were cut but rather broken off at the base of the structure. We have pictures. We were about 25 yards up hill from the trail and about 200 yards from the Peak 9 ski slope. We explored above the structure and found a tree that was bent over in a c curve and the tree was caught by another heavy tree trapping it to stay in this shape. We have pictures of all that we saw. We came across an indented puddle that looked like a footprint. It measured about 15 to 16 inches from toe to heal. It measured two inched deep in the water. My Son-in-law placed his foot in the boot next to it and could not make the indention as deep we measured his indention at 1/8 of an inch. About 50 yards along the ridge we came across another c curved tree with another tree trapping the c curved tree under it and the top of the tree was still connected. We also saw a tree break at about 7 foot high in a right angle. There were several other trees that were weaved together and no human could have done that on that slope. There were plenty of berry bushes all through out the area. There was a small creek running between the area that we explored and the ski slope. We walked out of the area and down the ski slope and could not see the tree structure nor could we hear the stream like we did when we were exploring. The weather was very good Sunny and the temperature was in the 60s. If you want to see the pictures please let me know and I will send them to you. Dwight Johnson

I have land in the southern part of Colorado, about 15-20 miles east of the valley, at about 10,000 ft elevation. I go up there a couple times a month. I have heard high pitched woops, tree knocking, and this last weekend, I have a tree that is broken at about 6- 7ft high. This aspen is about 8-9 inches round, and there is about 4feet of it above the 7ft , that is shattered. The tree is down. This area is desolate, and there is a lot of animals around. Usually there are a lot of bear signs on my property, but this year, there are no bear around. I wouldn’t mind if someone came to check things out.

I find your site super interesting and I find the subject fascinating. I found some interesting things that stood out to me as odd or intentionally done deep in the woods off most trails in the Bloomington Indiana area where there have been sightings in the past and a took maybe 20 pictures. The 2 or 3 mile logging road to the area is closed most of the year, so its fairly secluded most of the time. I’ve been back a second time and spent more time in maybe a 20 yard area a second weekend and saw things similar to what I’ve seen on your site. Would you be willing to take 10 minutes to look through the pictures if I send them, to see if I am just seeing things or if there might be similarities?

Sept. 4, 2015 in Chaffee County at panning site. It was partly cloudy and breezy.
If you leave the parking lot through the gate, go up a rise on the service road, then up another, you’ll get to where the Colorado Trail crosses. Veer down to the creek here and that’s where I was at.

I was sluicing for gold in the creek when started noticing a very strong and foul odor like urine/wet dog/poo. The breeze was moving around and the smell was strongest when it let up so I had a hard time figuring out what direction the odor was coming from. Several minutes passed when just upstream from me about maybe 70 feet but out of sight, I heard the sound of one footfall into the stream and out. The cadence of entry/exit implied that it had moved from my side of the stream (north) to the other (south).
Inexplicably, I heard no disturbance in the thick brush, although the breezy conditions
may have masked any subtle movements. Based on the heaviness of the footfall, I did however anticipate hearing crashing brush but there was none. Couldn’t tell if it had just stopped or snuck off though the smell was gone so deduced the latter. After a couple minutes I got up the nerve to ascend for a view of the spot and there was no sign of anybody/thing.

Went back to the parking lot camping area and the few vehicles for the other prospectors were the only ones there, they all being much further down stream
for the day as usual.

On Tuesday Feb. 9, 2016. I went outside to take linens to one of my cabins and in the snow I saw a distinct huge barefoot print. I was stunned. I photographed it with scale. It measured abut 17 inches long, 7 inches across the ball of the foo and about 4-5 inches across the heel area. The print was in an are of hard packed snow and was about 3/4-1 inch deep. This is in San Luis Valley. Please contact me.

August 29, 2015 11:25 am Holy Cross Wilderness Area, three tracks at about 9000ft. Tried to attach a pic for an opinion. 16-17 inches long about 9 wide. I posted the pic on Sasquatch Chronicles and was told it was fake and was ridiculed. I’ll post the report here and the pic if asked. I’m probably not going to relate anything else. My son took the pic and he and the other boys swear by what they saw. After the thaw this year they are going back in. I would appreciate comments and tips about that. I don’t think these animals are anything to mess with. regards, Gene

Here in north central Minnesota I had a BF move in and stayed for 3 months. I had a great handprint in fresh mud. Very clear. One eve in August I was sitting out back, quiet, calm, no wind. I gave a couple hoots and within a minute, he knocked over a 30 foot tree just 50 yards away. I saw the top as it went down. Two minutes later another one was pushed over about 120 yards away. I remember that he sure did stink. One evening I saw two deer getting chased, running as fast as possible. Head low, getting with it. Not hopping like deer usually do. Another thing is that he throws small pebbles into the metal roof of the chicken coop. Sometimes he throws small rocks at a nearby white pine tree. Makes life interesting.

I. I may have posted my information in the wrong area of your website. Live in Pine Colorado. Hiking today at slaughterhouse, a trail system for off-road vehicles in Bailey Colorado. Hiking with my two dogs at about noon. Saw some very strange tree damage something I’ve never seen my 26 years of exploring the high country. Damage to trees was about 8 to 10 feet high, looks like something chewed through them. Not wind damage, not snow load, too high for deer rub or elk rubbing. No evidence of claw marks on trees from bear etc. wondering if Porcupine or woodpecker damage? Diameter of one tree was 8 to 10 inches look like the entire top was just shredded chewed through. Adjacent tree smaller Sappling almost chewed all the way through and bent over. Smaller one also about 10 foot off the ground where damage was. I was assuming woodpeckers as I as I heard two distinct separate noises one on each end of the trail where I was at. Like someone knocking on wood. But seem to be louder than a normal woodpecker, tho sound traveled very well today as I was the only one out on the trails. I would love to send you some photos, if you can give me an email address. I have some very good close-up photos to share with you. I think maybe woodpecker damage, but find it hard to believe they could chew through an entire tree like that.

Thank you for your time look forward to hearing from you, Kim Pack. Pine Colorado 80470. Ps I am not a believer in Bigfoot but this just stumps me completely. Craziest tree damage I have ever seen. Showed pics to hubby and he baffled as well

In the high Uinta mountains in Utah by Moon Lake, my hunt buddy and I were searching for signs of Bigfoot. Being a Washington State native I have always believed in a larger hominid species.

We stumbled upon a site with several tree structures, both vertically and horizontally aligned. This one, https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10102557122902179&set=a.10100186678826109.2485466.17817223&type=3&theater
was unique in that it was in the split X geometric alignment. The geometry was nearly perfect and continued one level higher than the picture shows.

Time was 12:00 pm near August 1, 2015. Weather was sunny, 85 degrees.

It was mid July 2007 I was camping at stage coach reservoir outside of steamboat springs. Around 10:45 on a bright night a full moon as I recall. A friend and I spent most of the early evening night fishing for catfish and walleye. My buddy and I had finished up for the night and started walking back to our camp with two good size cats in-tow feeling pretty good about ourselves. we started talking about these girls we had seen earlier that day and how we hoped to run into them the next day and party. when all of a sudden we both got really quiet for no particular reason we just stopped talking mid-conversation. at that very moment this massive dark colored figure emerged from the scrub oak on the side of the main road leading to the campground. Not knowing what it was we stopped dead In our tracks. Staring in aw and marveled at the size of what we thought at first was man. then in a flash thought I said to myself that’s way to big to be a person “what the ____ is that”. This thing had to be nearly 10′ foot tall and about 3′ to 4′ thick from back to chest it made andre the giant (a very large man indeed) look like a child. it took this creature only four strides to clear a small two lane dirt road. it made its way down a deep run-off toward the lake and quickly out of sight without a sound. we looked for it down the hill with our flashlight for a little while never leaving the road out of fear the n started walking again I looked to my friend saying did we just see that, he promptly said ” I don’t want to talk about it!” . still to this day my friend won’t talk about the incident and I have been on the hunt ever since and have some more stories and some photos of tracks, tree breaks, and audio as well that I can post at a later time hope you enjoy my experience

best regards,
the lone Squacher

Three friends were camping; two went for an evening hike around a mountain and back to the campsite. The two started up through the forest and was following an Elk game trail down and around the mountain. The first indication of Sasquatch activity was a smaller pine tree approximately 10” inches in circumference, arched; not broken at the base and secured with a set of dead limbs at the top; as to maintain the arch. Continuing down the path, one hiker came across a single footprint on the trail. Many pine needles were on the ground and very dry. The footprint was estimated to be approximately 14-16” in length and 7-8” wide. Five clear toe impressions were visible and a solid sole print could be seen clearly. No other prints were looked for at the time however, a short distance down the path a pile of scat; unusual because the scat was not a dropping type; as you normally see with Elk or Bear. Rather, the scat seemed to be in a swirl. Further down the game trail the hikers found another tree structure. The structure was made of one very large, dead tree and two smaller trees. The large tree and one smaller appeared to be placed in a “Tee-Pee” way, crossing and being held up by the third tree. Upon investigating, it was obvious the trees did not fall naturally as there were no signs of broken tree trunks from either tree in the area. Also, the largest tree was approximately 25-30’ in length. Far too large for people to place in such a way.
The two hikers made their way back to Service Road and headed back to the campsite. After approximately ¼ mile, one hiker came across a very visible footprint near the side of the road. Size is guessed to be 11-12” long and 5-7” wide. Again, five visible toes and a clear sole print could be seen. One additional partial footprint was found just a little further on the service road in what appeared to be crossing the road and heading to a patch of smaller Ash trees. It is important to note, all along the game trail Elk scat and Elk tracks were clearly visible. By the looks and texture of all tracks and footprints, the hikers are guessing all were made one-three weeks prior to their hike. I have pictures of the tree structures and foot prints if you would like to see them. Mark

My Son-in-Law and I (who are from Colorado Springs) were hiking in the Lost Park Wilderness Area when we came across a trampled down area close to the creek and then we noticed a small game trail up the mountain. We climbed up the game trail and found some strange suspect tree structures along with rock formations that have over hangs and possible caves. From our location we could not see the trail. I took several pictures and we thought we saw a black blob up the hill about 100 yards away and it did not move. I took two pictures of that area and we when got home and I downloaded them onto my computer I saw in both pictures a light blue area on both sides of a tree up the hill about 100 yards I then enlarged my picture and got chills at what I saw which in an enlarged pictures was a blue figure. The first picture is behind a tree with what looks like a hand on the right side of the tree with a leg on the right side of the tree. In the next picture the blue figure has a face on the left side of the tree up higher than the leg which is still showing. The hand on the right side of the tree has not moved. I have two pictures and I enlarged both of the pictures to show the blue figure. We found wild game and berries along with a flowing stream. On the trail we hiked back about 2.5 miles from the campground and saw a total of 8 people and two dogs on leases. We did not find any footprints. The weather was clear sky and temperature was in the low 60’s. I researched Blue Sasquatches and found a couple of articles on Blue Sasquatches.

11/26/2016 4:45 am cold morning with clear skies.My boyfriend is a tower for an Idaho Fall towing company. He receives a message at 2:45 am to travel to Blackfoot for a lockout. Around 5:00 he arrives home and I asked him how was your trip and he replied ” GREAT! It was what happened after the tow that’s got me a little freaked out !! ” So I asked, why what happened? At first he hesitated then said, you’ll never believe me so never mind. I then jumped out of bed & insisted he told me regardless whether I believed him or not. He told me that he was on I-15 heading north back home & just after the Rose Firth exit, a large figure along with a smaller one, two of them,a Bigfoot looking creature he described, crossed the freeway. He then told me that he stopped & grabbed his phone to record his encounter with these creatures he had just witnessed. According to him, as he was running the bigger one stepped over this fenced area; the smaller one jumped over the fence. He then went on describing the weird screeching sound he heard. He said it was a loud sound that scared him something fierce that he then stopped; he saw the pair slide down a hillside. You can call him if you wish daytime since he has no Email address.

Date: 11/25/16
Encounter time: 3:15-4:15pm, Dusk for this time of year
Weather Conditions: Sunny, the area had received 6 inches of snow 3 days prior so we were hiking through snow most of the time. Brooke pond was also frozen several inches thick from the shore to about 15 feet out probably

~~~We finished the first half of Trail 5 and entered through the open gates on the south-east side of the pond. I had been to the pond twice before earlier in the year. Me and my friend walked and slid around the edge of the pond and were having a good time. To get a better idea of ice thickness, other than jabbing very hard with a stick and stomping on the ice, we started throwing some rocks out on to the ice. None of the rocks were bigger than 7lbs probably. None of which even phased the ice
~~~My friend picked up a handful of many small pebbles and threw them out across the ice. About a second of the rocks settle we heard what can only be describes as an extremely loud thunder like noise, similar to a close lightning strike almost. It was so loud it startled us both a lot. The ice did not crack visibly or shift in any way, but the sound was so disorienting we couldn’t tell for sure it didn’t come from the pond’s ice. After a couple moments we hike West up the clearing a little bit and sit with the pond in view.
~~~All of the birds have migrated by this time of the so the forest was pretty silent except for the occasional falling snow. After sitting for a couple minutes we start hearing tree knocking coming from where we had hiked in (trail 5 winds through a couple valleys). The knocking lasted probably about 6 or 7 seconds, and had my friend and I silent.
~~~We decide to hike back out using trail 5 still as it was getting late and the trail goes directly back to the visitor center. We hike back down the clearing and have to go around the pond to get back out. This time as we are walking next to the pond (not on the ice and or throwing rocks at the ice this time) we here the MASSIVE thunder noise again. This time even louder. Hearing this noise again made us positive that the noise did not come from the frozen pond in anyway.
~~~After much analysis in my head of the sound I think it was the sound of thick trees snapping in half. The knocking sound I have no idea what it could’ve come from, but not a human because we tried recreating the knocking sounds several different ways and couldn’t do it. Especially not loud enough to reverberate throughout several valleys.
~~~On our hike back up trail 5, this time looking for them, We spotted several tree breaks right on the trail, however they were old because there was no sap. I plan to photograph some of these massive tree breaks next time i’m in the area.
Thank you for reading this odd odd experience

Me, my girlfriend and 4 year old daughter were hiking in our mining claim south west of Cripple Creek when we came across a set of prints leading across a snow covered road. This claim is extremely far out and there is nobody within at least a mile straight up rocky cliffs. The road in is 6 miles and only doable in a jeep. The prints were a few days old as it was warm and would be below freezing at night. There was no distinct toes or anything but these prints were huge! My girlfriend and I took pictures of them. I also walked long stride next to them and took photos of the these prints too. I’m 6 ft 2 and wear size 13 boot. It took three strides to cover two of these prints! I have pictures and would like to share them with you. That day we went and bought a trail cam and set it up. We are waiting two weeks to see what we get! If you’d like to see the pictures, please feel free to contact me.

It was the very last of March or first week of April 2013 but on a Thursday night at approximately 11:05pm as I was coming home late I was driving east on Pine Lane just past Challenger Park subdivision. It was very dark as it had been misting our first little rain very overcast. Just as I approached the Cherry Creek Trail a bigfoot came in view and ran right in front of me. He would have ran south toward Lincoln. CarMax and other businesses were not there at the time or the fenced in areas of both sides of Pine Lane. I couldn’t believe what I saw but he was a beautiful human animal. I can no longer stand to watch the Finding Bigfoot show as they make them scary with huge heads and matted long hair glowing red or green eyes exactly opposite of what I saw which was a human head and hair short and smooth like a gorilla. He looked at me with such kindness and curious eyes. I can see him as if it were today. He had large brown or dark eyes not the red glowing eyes that Finding Bigfoot always describes. Just as he got in front of my lights he turned his eyes slightly to the east and I could see the whites of his eyes. I can tell you they are here in Parker following the Cherry Creek and Sulpher Gulch trails and open spaces. I have since seen the evidence with the trees snapped. This last year I finally heard one at 2:45 am April 24, 2016 this time I wrote it down. I had got up to go to the bathroom and when I got back in bed the coyotes started barking which caused the dogs to start barking then something with a howl so loud started howling which drowned out the coyotes and you could barely hear the dogs but at the sound of the second howl the coyotes and dogs immediately stopped and then there was dead silence. I live by sulpher gulch off Canterbury Trail which makes a big loop. This is near Legend High School. The other day as we were walking and nearing Canterbury Pkwy down in the gulch was a newly broke branch up high in one of the trees a human would have to have a tall ladder to get that high. They are here and you should research your on hometown. When we first moved here when I would leave our subdivsion and always get the red light at the corner of Canterbury Pkwy and Old East Parker Road or Main Street near Ava Maria Catholic Church to the north is vacant land with a group of Pine trees I had observed a huge dark bush shaped in the form of a human and thought it was strange and would see it a couple of days but then it disappeared and I thought someone chopped the bush down. I realize now it was probably a bigfoot. I also saw a deer head that had been ripped from it’s body and thrown on Canterbury Pkwy just past Quail Run before the light at Canterbury Trail.

I’m curious to know what type of feedback, positive or negative, any of you have gotten after reporting your encounters. There are likely people who are hesitant to report their sighting for fear of the unknown feedback that may come.

Hi back in 2002 in Maple plain twp near Cumberland Wi. there was a very good sighting.You can google it to see what happened.Well a good friend of mine was in visiting me yesterday and said he was at his new home job site and seen a track in the mud that was probably a big foot.It was over a ft long and very wide with 3 toes evident,and took a photo of it.Then I found out there have been other sightings in this twp,but people do not want to come forward and tell what they saw.Quite remarkable to say the least.

My wife and I took a picture of what appears to be a large gorilla type animal. It was taken in the mid-morning on a clear day July 2012. We were on the road (an old railroad bed) to the Alpine Tunnel northeast of Pitkin, CO. We had just traveled through a valley when we decided to take a picture of the road we had just driven. The object is in the road and is as tall as the road is wide. The picture was taken from about a ½ mile away. We are a private couple and have never said anything to anybody before about what we saw. If you would like to get a copy of the picture, or more details let me know.

On 7/27/2017 around 1400hrs near the start of one of the trails heading to Ouzel Falls in RMNP. Raining off and on so everything was damp and wet.
This is not a sighting or very well may not be anything at all but a rather odd pile of rock/dirt base. My wife and I were walking back to the parking area but were paralleling the trail probably a good 50 meters off trail when we came across what to all intents is a grave. Slight mound, 3.5′ wide and 8′ long. The surface is like most areas here in CO mtns mostly ground granite with a bit of dirt and pine straw/cones and certainly plenty of rocks poking up and under ground. Digging in this would be serious negative fun. There were a couple rocks on the surface probably from under ground. Thing is it was not heavily covered by pine straw or small plant growth yet but did look like it had been there a time. The whole thing was out of place and did seem to have something of a stone header and footer. If it had been round, about 2-4′ in dia I would have walked past but this was elongated and NO wood ants in area. Never seen a wood ant pile not round. Took 3 picts. Enjoy your site. Been on the look out with your info provided from site but nothing yet. Enjoy just being in the bush. KB

Hello! I have some pictures of stick structures found in Estes Park. Can I get an email to send them to you? From this same area I found the sticks my dad heard a horrible scream that was unrecognizable. Also my mom found footprints in their yard so far apart and she said it seemed as if a stick was drug. Lastly my husband and I found footprints in the snow that were too far apart to step off. All of these things have come from the same area. Curious if your opinion.
