Mike,
I was blown away when I heard your story on Alex, Midnightwalker’s radio show. I have a couple groups of Sasquatch people that I have interacted with here in Oregon and am just now beginning ( I hope) to develop more of a relationship with some of them. Nothing as intense as what you and your group have accomplished but fascinating for sure!

I was wondering if you or some of your team would take the time to look at my artwork and give me your critique. Am I close, way off, almost there? Anyway, I wanted to say thanks for all you’ve done and all your work and I’ll be watching with much attention!

Greetings!

I need some help. I have made numerous attempts to connect with BF researchers in my state and have been left feeling ignored. I am new to bigfooting but have been living with the memory of an experience for the last 30 years. I have recently decided to really start doing some fact finding and truth hunting but can’t seem to find anyone locally to really help me out. So I am going to start a research organization on my own. I am getting together all of the tools I will need and have started mapping and planning a few expeditions.

I am reaching out to you because I want what you have. I want an organization that puts Sasquatch first. I want to learn and understand, protect and preserve. I want an organization dedicated to collecting as much evidence and information as possible so I can teach, enlighten and guide others as they deal with making contact so they understand our friends. Understanding destroys fear and hate.

I have had a number of experiences but have yet to have a siting. I am currently studying regional flora and fauna as well as regional animal species so I have a good understanding of the kind of environments and ecosystems our friends live in. Here in Virginia, siting locations range from mountains to tidewater. Can be quite challenging from location to location all year round! I’m excited about that!

I have been reading and studying as much data as I can. I have learned about the structures they build and they signs they use. I have been especially intrigued by how they interact with humans. It is clear that it happens a lot more than people realize. But more than anything else I am motivated by two things. Personal questions I need answers to and the frightening thought of what happens when people make contact with Sasquatch in a way that gives undeniable proof. We need to learn as much as we can so we can protect them when they can’t fight for themselves. Speak for them when their voices cause fear. I am no conspiracy theorist. And I’m not some nut-case conservationist. I’ve just been alive long enough to see first hand what people do to anything they don’t understand.

Anyway, I am hoping Michael or Scott will respond to this plea and be sort of my “long-distance mentor”! I am not looking to add more to your plates. I promise I won’t be a hassle. I am need someone to bounce ideas and questions off of. Maybe someone to review photos and video for me. Just until I partner with other researchers. And hoping you will share your methods with me so I can instill in those who work with me the same work and research ethics you use.

Sorry for the lengthy note. I really hope you will consider helping me. I lived in Colorado Springs for a few years and had a couple of camping trips that were highlighted with wood knocks and the sounds of breaking trees in the distance. I have been looking for a reason to come back so if a face to face ever becomes necessary I am down! I would love to go out with you for some training and I will travel if needed.

I am going to do this with or without your help but I pray you will help me. I really like the way you guys are doing it and want to mirror your style. Either way I pray for your continued success.

Sincerely,
Greg Corbin

Hi Mike, I just spent a TERRIFIC week with Robin. You should be very proud to have her as a part of your group. She was always very professional, knowledgeable and VERY PATIENT with us novices. I felt I received a Ph. D. education… sooooooooo interesting..I had such a wonderful, excitiing week, I still can’t believe everything I saw !!!!!!!!!! I am putting together a small book and I was wondering, how many years ago did you start S.I.R. ??? I want everything to be as accurate as possible. I have wanted to go “Squatching” since I first read about PATTY in 1967……AND, I ALWAYS BELIEVED !!!! Now, I REALLY BELIEVE !!! Thank you sooooo much for founding S.I.R. and let people like me joining with you for a week. Next time you have a conference or something coming up please let me know…. THANKS AGAIN, Harriett McFeely

I have an idea about where to find bigfoot. in the Western United States, probably close to your area of operation. I will tell you I’ve suggested it to several people, but no actual Bigfoot researchers. If your group is open to an idea from an interested observer, email me, and I’ll give you what I have…

Just moved to the Aurora CO area, working at the Costco Depot by the Airport. Most of my family resides in the Eagle area. I had my Encounter in 2010 while camping near Mt. St. Helens, WA. Went to go pee, long story short, heard loud crashing blasting through the bushes and small trees. Approx 25ft from the noise, it stopped and that’s when the smell overcame me. Heard breathing and growling. Saw an approx 10-12 ft Massive figure, very wide shoulders. Lots of long hair/fur, could not see face. After which seemed forever, 30 sec, the figure took off so Frigging Fast, not showing any concern for the dense brush. After changing my shorts, stayed up rest of night. Found approx 21 inch, 8-9 in wide Tracks. After moving to Tucson, I began investigating the Mogollon Monster, located in Northern AZ. I got to know Mitch Waite and learned a great deal of Investigating the Squatch.
I am a non-violent Researcher of the Squatch, but after much Historical Research of the Sasquatch, I’m a 100% Believer that you must show Respect if in their Homeland, but also be very cautious of signs of Rogue Sasquatch. The Sasquatch is Not a Furry Fun Loving Teddy-Bear like Creature that alot of the Researchers who Hoax, Lie and BS regarding their Research. Never go out into the Deep Wilderness Alone. If you have the Misfortune of Running into a Rogue Squatch or Clan, you will have a very bad day. Am I saying that the Sasquatch are Dangerous? Absolutely, 100%! They have been around for a Millenia, avoiding their biggest enemy, Humans! They will Survive! If threatened or disrespected, you will Not be seen again.
