Day 2 of the SIR Christmas stories from Jeff Yelek

by Michael on December 22, 2012

Many knowledgeable and honorable people in the field in the Bigfoot world know that you can only show or try and prove about 5% of the things that happen. Evidence is difficult to obtain, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Our 12 days of SIR Christmas stories will share some of our best experiences. We can’t prove these stories in some instances and will not even try, but these are the things that we talk about in-house and around the campfire, and it is our gift to you this holiday season.

Thanks, Mike – Co-founder of Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies

Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas comes from Jeff Yelek

Colorado Bigfoot Researcher JeffHello and Merry Christmas. It’s been a great year at SIR and it is only getting better.

Our first outing was a blast amazing 40+ wood knock but on that trip I saw something that is hard to explain.

We were around the fire and I was on the North end of the fire, and the others were on the South side of the camp fire.

Looking into the dark woods I see my shadow to my left side but there is a larger shadow to the right of mine, so I moved to tell if it was my shadow on the left. But where did the shadow on the right come from? I looked back and everyone else was on the other side of the camp fire, so there was no way their shadow would be coming across the fire.

So I looked back and the shadow started to rock or sway side to side. I looked back at the guys and called Michael over, and then turned to look back at the shadow. As Michael was walking over, the shadow sank to the ground and was gone without a sound. Looking around the next morning it would have been a shadow of about 7 foot tall, it makes you scratch your head for sure.

The next big experience was with my wife and it was just the two of us camping with no one close for miles. It was a new camp spot and we just got everything set up, when we heard this bear growl. We both go for our bear mace and nothing happens, so I do a wood knock to scare it off and then wait.

Then we hear some rock clacks and we return the clacks with our clacks, then its game on. At this point it hits me it might of been a Sasquatch mimicking a bear? We both feel a lot calmer at this point.

Then the next three days we were rock clacking with three different Sasquatch on the ridge above us. I took off and hiked up the ridge and got close to the top and stopped and sat down. I could hear a rock clack along the way and then there were some thumps behind me, so I looked but saw nothing.

Looking to my left I thought I saw a very fast bird flying through the trees, but it was actually a rock. It hit a tree that had a squirrel in it, which was very mad at this point and chattering away like crazy.

When I looked at where the rock came from, I couldn’t see anything.

It’s these strange things that we deal with when our Big friends are close and it’s just amazing to be a part of all this. Getting to know the Sasquatch and interacting with these forest beings is the most amazing thing. It makes you feel young again, like a little child’s excitement on Christmas morning.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND BE SAFE EVERYONE

Jeff
